EL DANDY~! Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Spoiler (Highlight to Read): 411mania.com has just posted that Linda McMahon will be on RAW tonight. Chances are she will bring back Austin for GM and that he will in turn bring JR back to announce. Geez, more McMahons...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 OMG! THEY DO KNOW WHAT I WANT!!!!!
Guest bob_barron Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 OMG! THEY DO KNOW WHAT I WANT!!!!! If Linda showed up on TNA- bps would mark the FUCK out
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 They need to put her in the TNA dancing cages!
Guest Quik Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Say, didn't they do this allready.... like 2 years ago?
Guest El Satanico Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Hey wow...you've noticed that they always bring out Linda when there's a contract at the heart of the storyline...yes you're a quick one.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 What good will Linda do (AT ALL?). And what sort of face GM brings back a foul-mouthed cripple and slowly deteriating announcer?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 No..he means that this EXACT same thing happened once. Linda used her power to make the same person the GM type of the WWE. Like...they could just air that segment.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Well, gee, this is making me happier that I am not going to be watching Raw tonight, most likely, since it's airing at like 12:30 AM in Canada. I just hope they will not debut Gail Kim tonight.
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Hey wow...you've noticed that they always bring out Linda when there's a contract at the heart of the storyline...yes you're a quick one. Linda is the WWE's Deus ex Machina. Which I actually don't mind, and wish that's how authority figures should be used as, and exclusively as.
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Well guess that will give the logic as to why Austin gets to be GM.
JN News Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 I'll believe this stuff when Meltzer confirms it.
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Why the fuck doesn't Austin go to Smackdown Hogan to Raw, Austin to Smackdown = fair trade
Guest El Satanico Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Well, Linda is always doing this type of thing anymore. She'll also be gone again after tonight as always.
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 oh yeah, if he is in his normal ring attire with a tie on, I'm going to throw a brick through my TV screen rehashing fucking sucks
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 What good will Linda do (AT ALL?). well, I'll get to mark out for the Wrestlemania X music at least
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Damn, all the McMahons are active except Shane-O. I call Linda firing Bischoff and bringing in Shane. Hey, it's a better idea than what they're gonna do!
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 im not a sexist or an advocate for spousal abuse...but id mark the fuck out if Vince came out while she was talking and bitch slapped her and said "Noooooo"
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Wow, Austin involved in some sort of GM/Authority angle, they haven't done THAT before.
Guest Bannable Offense Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 All GMs and higher executive powers should be forced to heed the Jack Tunney Rule: Show up, make the important announcement, then vanish just as quickly as you appeared.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 No, no, no, you guys are crazy! What WWe needs is more GM's, more authority figures, and much more people who can't ever wrestle endlessly talking and talking about stuff that means absolutely nothing and wouldn't be going anywhere even if it did! This is so great! Must go set my VCR...
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Its pretty vague, but I swear Linda gave up any share of WWE (in storyline terms) a while back - can anyone with a memory server me correct?
Guest DerangedHermit Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Its pretty vague, but I swear Linda gave up any share of WWE (in storyline terms) a while back - can anyone with a memory server me correct? And I swear that the WWE has no storyline continuity.
Guest mach7 Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I fucking hate Linda McMahon and her Jackie Gayda level of "acting" ... and I fucking hate her early-to-mid-90's WrestleMania theme music. UGH!
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 From memory: Vince was manager of WWE when Flair came in and was given 50% power from Linda (reducing Linda's power to...nothing....). STATUS: Vince 50%, Flair 50%, Linda; nothing A few months later near Mania X8, Flair's behaviour was deemed unacceptable by a WWE board that was hierarchically above them both (which included Linda). Flair was stripped of power for a month or so and eventually lost it in a match with Vince. But given these events. Vince 100%, Flair; nothing, Linda; WWE Board Vince appoints GM's Vince 100%, Bisch; RAW, Steph SmackDown!, Linda; WWE Board NOW - Why would Linda even come back as GM - she is on the bloody WWE Board! In addition, she would be going through Vince's line of power to appoint / change - logically, Vince HAS to be involved or it is all bollocks. I may be wrong in some of the stuff below, but my 10 year old cousin picks up on stuff like this!
Guest jester Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Since Austin is co-GM, does that mean that Ric Flair will be his assistant? I mean, not that he'd be able to pull him out of HHH's ass, but shouldn't Flair be Austin's bitch according to the storylines? Or are we not supposed to remember Austin's last match before the walkout?
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Since Austin is co-GM, does that mean that Ric Flair will be his assistant? I mean, not that he'd be able to pull him out of HHH's ass, but shouldn't Flair be Austin's bitch according to the storylines? Or are we not supposed to remember Austin's last match before the walkout? Nope. It never happened in current WWE continuity. Everything is forgotten after a month or so, but if they so choose they'll dig up 6-20 year old issues to try to sell a fued. I may be wrong in some of the stuff below, but my 10 year old cousin picks up on stuff like this! Stephanie isn't even that good with details or memory. Ed Wood would be a better writer than the current WWE writers.
