Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted May 1, 2003 I'm sure we've all done it. Cooped up on a rainy/snowy/sick day. Nothing on TV. So we pop in a tape or DVD and kill a few hours with some classic matches. These don't have to be your top picks, but what wrestling matches/promotions do you like to watch on these days? Anything with Flair or Foley for me. Old Colliseum videos hosted by Sean Mooney PPV like Wrestlemania III, VI and X

Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted May 1, 2003 Next day I get off work, I'm right on X-7. It's just dawned on me that I haven't watched it in forever. I watch Brock/Hogan on the summerslam DVD quite a lot, especially when drunk, in which case Hogan's slaughter moves me near to tears with amusement. Nobody's making the save, Terrence! BWAHAHAHAHA! 'He's hulking up! *BAM* Ooooh noooo he isn't...' YOU OLD BASTARD! DIE DIE DIE!! But yeah, Rumble 92 Flair/Savage WM8 Bret/Owen Bret/Austin Austin/Angle from summerslam usually do the trick. I'm planning on getting some MPro actually, cos the Barely Legal 6-man usually satisfies as well.

cawthon777 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2003 Any random PPV from 89-92. <---- Marks out for the action figure commercials at the beginning. Piper: "YOU HEAR THE REAL VOICE OF HULK HOGAN AND THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR! EACH SAYS SIX FIGHTING PHRASES!" Savage: "I CHALLENGE YOU, WARRIOR!" Electronic Warrior: "I ACCEPT THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE!" *footage of Warrior pounding Savage is shown ... Savage cringes on the screen*

Guest Ace309 Report post Posted May 2, 2003 I forget which SurSeries it was, but the one with the Hart Brothers survival match that starts the Owen turn, and the Rock and Roll Express/Heavenly Bodies match. I just get a kick out of JR yelling, "A RE-VERSE MOONSAULT OF THE APRON! A RE-VERSE MOONSAULT!" when Jimmy Del Ray hits it. Also, my #1 rainy day match guy is Jumbo. His stuff is just great. Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2003 I'd probably pop in one of my recorded tapes. But if it'd have to be a Pay-Per-View, it'd either be Summerslam '02 or Survivor Series '02. Rainy Day Ma..tches. Heh, reminds me of a Sailor Moon song...

Guest bravesfan Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Wrestlemania X-7 does the trick for the most part, whether I'm depressed, sick or just bored. Honorable mention goes to the last two editions of the Survivor Series, and a few WWE TV shows from the summer of 2001.
