Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Metallica- Enter Sandman Ozzy Osbourne- Crazy Train Black sabbath- Paranoid Iron Man G N' R- Welcome to the Jungle Sweet Child 'O Mine Live & Let Die Soundgarden- Black Hole Sun Nirvana- Smells Like Teen Spirit (As bad as Enter Sandman)
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin has to be the hands down winner. Others would be: Rock 'n Roll All Night by KISS Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC Free Bird and Sweet Home Alabama by Lynard Skynard Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple Yesterday by the Beatles (which is the most played song on the radio of all time and the most covered)
Guest Choken One Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 really? I didn't know that it was the most played since I don't catch that often but ALWAYS catch Enter Sandman or Sweet Home Alabama...
Guest Damn You Helmsley Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Imagine - John Lennon. But it's not even that great, at all.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Lust for Life - Iggy Pop Being in so many commercials and crap not only overexposes it, but cheapens it severely as well.
Guest redbaron51 Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Another Brick On The Wall Pt. 2 Stairway to Heaven Baba O'Riely Enter Sandman Welcome to the Jungle Crazy Train You Shook Me All Night Long Smells Like Teens Spirit
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Stairway to Heaven used to be, but since most radio stations I listen to refuse to play it anymore cause it was so overplayed that it's starting to become okay again.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 i once heard "Out Of My Head" by Fastball SIX TIMES IN ONE DAY on the same radio station... it doesn't really count but GOD...
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Yellow Submarine, dammit. Oh, and maybe TNT. Just maybe. Californiacation and Beautiful Day are up there, too.
Guest NoCalMike Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Just turn on FM radio. If you hear a song you like, keep listening, it will be on AGAIN in an hour or so.
Guest El Satanico Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 When will more people realize that FM radio is a wasteland
Guest DrTom Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 I'd agree with most of the songs listed so far. A current one that's getting overplayed is "Like A Stone," by Audioslave. I think it's a tremendous song, but it's on *all the time* now. I'm not sick of hearing it yet, but I get the feeling I will be soon.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 "Hello, I Love You"- The Doors "Back in Black"- AC/DC "You Shook Me All Night Long"- AC/DC "Should I Stay or Should I Go"- The Clash "By the Way"- Red Hot Chili Peppers
Guest Nevermortal Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 'Chop Suey' by SOAD '96 Quite Bitter Beings' by CKY 'Enter Sandman' by Metallica
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Santana's"Smooth" was alright, the first few times...same with "The Freshman" by the Verve Pipe
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Currently: "In Da Club" by 50 Cent All time: "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. It is a song I don't like but most over exposed. But song I like that is the most over exposed goes to hands down no ifs, ands, or buts, "Thriller" by Michael Jackson.
Guest Cover of Darkness Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 No the hands down winner is simple: "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf. Nothing comes close.
Guest Narcoleptic Jumper Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 "Semi Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind.
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 "This Is How We Do It" - Montell Jordan "Don't You (Forget About Me)" - Simple Minds
Guest Zero_Cool Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Closing Time - Semisonic Beautiful Day - U2 Under the Bridge - RHCP
Guest Flyboy Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Since I'm in a Apple mood: Fiona Apple - "Criminal"
Guest Mr. X Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I love 2pac's music but California Love just irritates the hell out of me. Enter Sandman, anytime I hear that song I just want to beat myself over the head with a tire iron. A couple years ago Incubus' "Drive" was played like every half hour. I don't listen to the radio but my parents do, everyday I'd wake up and that song was on the radio, it was like the movie Groundhog Day except it wasn't Groundhog Day. I actually like Incubus but even that was too much.
Guest razazteca Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 the local radio station would alway play Spin Doctors songs forever. Not sure of the name of the song but it has "Rosa" repeated several times I think it was by the band MANA or La Mafia for you Spanish music lovers. And the song "La Bomba" great video but damn it the radio station plays it too much.
Rendclaw Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Rando: The Way was FAR more overplayed. the only thing on FM radio that I enjoy is Howard Stern. Nuff Said. :;makes a mental note to get a head cleaner/de-magnetizer for the old tape deck in his car::
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 No the hands down winner is simple: "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf. Nothing comes close. I'd say you're right, but I think "Bad to the Bone" is equally as bad.
Guest JangoFett4Hire Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Santana's"Smooth" was alright, the first few times...same with "The Freshman" by the Verve Pipe Dude, you were in the "Depressing song" thread saying that Freshmen is great...
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I love the Freshman...but I got way sick of it after a while. I think I mentioned in the thread that I had reciently heard it again, and was able to like it again. I like the song...but for a while I got sick of it
