Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 20, 2003 you'd think they would throw them into Dark Matches before throwing them onto TV damn it what were they thinking they were the Roadwarriors of the 80's or Legion of Doom of the 90's
The Dames 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Guys...I think the point of the thread is that David Flair appears to be in WWE. It could have been just a one shot thing since they were in Flair Country. How sad is it that Maven, a guy who won Tough Enough, is a better worker than A. A former WCW US Champ. B. Someone who's been on TV for years now. C. The son of one of the greatest performers in the wrestling biz...Ric Flair. Dames
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 20, 2003 and threads tend to wander.....then drift back to the main course....geee thanks for steering us back, we wouldn't be able to find our way and I agree this was just a one time thing in Flair country. David Flair never did inspire much confidence in his wrestling ability while under the development contract maybe TNA will find more use of him or WWA
Guest Heel In Peril Report post Posted May 20, 2003 A. A former WCW US Champ. Yeah, until Benoit punished him for it. Benoit: Hey, Flair! How about that title fight? Flair: What? *Benoit throws him in a Crippler Crossface while Saturn and Dean kick him in the back. Douglas cheers.* Douglas: BREAK IT! BREAK IT! BREAK IT! *I mark out.*
Guest Vyce Report post Posted May 20, 2003 David Flair = the David Sammartino of our time.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Don't worry about it...Likely Since it was Flair Memorial Night or whatever...They let David rassle.

Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 20, 2003 "Former U.S. Champ" just doesn't mean as much as it use to. I think it's funny that the WCW tv title was the only WCW belt not to savagly kill its legacy by having an embarassing title holder.

Dames Hey Dames, pretty funny our topic of conversation the other night was David Flair, and now this. For those who don't know, yes, I like David Flair. Not in the "bah gawd, he'll be as big as Angle one day!" mindset, but in a guilty pleasure way. Plus I met the kid and he was a great guy, so that also made me a fan. Gonna have to check out Heat this week to see how this plays out. Though I find it funny that out of all the people to steal from TNA, they've stolen Tenacious Z and David Flair. Better for TNA though.

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2003 And what the fuck happened to Stevie vs Morley?!? I can understand it being cut from Raw because it was Flair's show....but it's not on Heat?! Now I doubly regret missing the Heat before Judgement Day. Which is worse. WCW world champions David Arquette and Vince Russo Cruiserweight champions Medusa and Oklahomo US champion David Flair WCW hardcore champion Eric Bischoff Plus not to mention the Harris Bros and David Flair being former tag champs so TV champion Jim Duggan doesn't sound so bad now

Yeah my unlce would just drop random knee drops on us kids. And Duggan isn't THAT much of an emberassment. I mean he was sort of a player in the wrestling business at some point. Guest deadbeater Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Jazz borrows heavily from Jacqueline's moveset, as Jackie was her idol. The fact that many think that Jackie is crap (don't know how) is testament to the strength of the women's division. This looks to be the best match of the night. Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 21, 2003 The WCW TV Title was a WCW Saturday Night title when the belt and that show ended...no one even saw that stuff anyway.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted May 21, 2003 The ladies tag match was very good. At one point Jackie blew a spot with Jazz and simply repeated it to be edited into the match later. The match itself went on for about 7-8 minutes. The great thing about that is no one in Greenville chanted "boring" or "we want puppies". I thought David Flair was signed to Ohio a while ago. Anyway, he got a good pop in Greenville as he is the son of Ric and the taping occurred in Flair country, South Carolina.

Is a former WCW World and WWF Champion, the latter for 9 months. 2. Has about 10 years experience. 3. Was an integral part of one of the biggest angles ever. 4. Ended Goldberg's streak.
