First off, I like Breckin Meyer.

Not a Garfield fan, don't care.

But you ALL know that I'm seeing this movie.

And I don't even have to say why.

Dames

Is it because of the mind bending plot?

No Nermal? No mailing of Nermal to Abu Dhabi?

This movie will suck cock.

Garfield needs a voice. the actor from the cartoon, Lorenzo Music, passed away some time ago. Someone like Bill Murray could pull it off.

Dude! When I was a kid, I used to think that Murray did his voice! Music and Murray sound very similar, and I think that Murray would be a great choice for Garfield's voice in the movie.

That said, I'd definitely see it, but I'd probably do so during matinee hours or on cheapo Tuesday's.

Dear god....another Scooby Doo type of movie! NOOOOO!! I think they should have FULL CGI.

I might see it, but there's no way in hell that it would be as enjoyable as an entirely animated movie. Live action movies of cartoon strips are just wrong.

Count my vote for Bill Murray voicing Garfield as well. He's as close to Lorenzo Music as we're ever going to get now.

A Garfield movie would be good if it had no real plot. Just Jon and Garfield going to the diner, vet, and all that. Maybe have a bunch of mini-stories. so it's like a film version of a few weeks' worth of comic strips.

I really miss Lorenzo Music. Real Ghostbusters was one of the best animated shows EVER.

This movie just seems like a bad idea, but I could go with Murray for the voice.

Or Bruce Campbell. Just because he's Bruce fuckin' Campbell.

If any of the tv characters like Binky the clown, those bears, or wade the duck are in it I'll consider seeing it.

No problem, King. Plus, if you get Murray, it comes full circle:

Murray plays Peter Venkman in Ghostbuster-

Music voices Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters-

Murray voices Garfield.

It's been confirmed, ladies and germs:

Bill Murray signs on to voice Garfield.

:headbang:

I mark for Bill Murray, what can I say?

Perhaps this movie will work but...

...CGI Garfield but real Odie? I can't see that.

What I don't get is Odie is a little black, brown, and white like the dog on Frasier. I can't think of the breed right now, but it's not what I imagine Odie's real life counterpart to look like. At least get a yellow dog.

Bill Murray signs on to voice Garfield.

Damn, I'm good.

Whoa. I may actually see this, despite the prescence of JLH (Why do I hate her? The Tuxedo. 'Nuff said.).

Yeah...JLH sucks in everything...not just The Tuxedo.

Leave The Tuxedo alone!

Dames

It WAS one of Chan's worst US films. But blame the director and the godawful script for that. Remember the uproar from Chan fans when he used wires for most of his stunts?

That was before it came out. I found the pairing to be interesting.

And then I actually saw it.
