What moves do you "MARK" out for...

Recommended Posts

Guest Downhome

I saw a thread like this over at WC, and thought I'd start it here, yeah. So what moves do you truly mark out for every time you see it?

For me, one of the top ones that I just totally mark for is one that you ALMOST never see anyone do anymore. That being, the f'n Slingshot Suplex! The last time I saw someone do it is when Chief Morley did it a few weeks ago. From that moment, I once again loved the guy, heh. God, long live Tully Blanchard! Sure, it isn't that much of an impact move, and it's something that so many guys could pull off, but there is just something about it that I just love.

Or, hell, maybe I'm just a huge Tully Blanchard mark, heh.

Sincerely,

...Downhome...

Sweet Chin Music and the T-Bone Suplex. The T-Bone's been my favorite move ever since I saw Taz suplex Tommy Dreamer off the stage in ECW in 96.

Wrong folder for me but I really like the spinebuster David Young does. Haven't seen anyone do it like that since Arn Anderson back in the day.

Nice Horsemen theme we have going.

Wow, when was the last time we saw someone do a really good T-Bone?

I mark when Chavo hits his Tornado DDT. I mark for Val Venis selling a piledriver or DDT. I also mark for Jericho's Lionsault.

I also mark for Spanky's music.

I also mark for Spanky's music.

If not Spanky, I would like to see his music at least get a push. :D

Maybe next week we'll see Nash lumbering out to Spanky's music.

Though I never see it, I mark out crazy whenever I see the Diamond Dust.

Last time I can say I really marked out was when Taz(z) used his Tazmission on someone during Smackdown sometime ago.

Eddie Guerrero's springboard walking along the orpes armdrag into a hurricanranna thingy he does occasionally, I love that when he pulls it off

All the flying stuff that Rey Rey does, I keep thinking he's gonna fuck up but he always seems to pull it off

Also a well executed Harlem sidekick by Booker T

BENOIT BOMB!!

It's been a while. I still mark for the move.

And the Dragon suplex too. I don't know why Benoit stopped using that move.

I love watching Val Venis matches because he has a great puro-influenced moveset. He's got the Blue Thunder Bomb and even the Kobashi irish whip knee lifts. His fisherman suplex also rocks the casbah.

Oh, and Spanky's shing wizard enziguri thing. <-- correct if you wish, dace59.

Just for the record, I mark for the "Benoit/Dynamite Headbut" more than ANY move ever, even more than the Slingshot Suplex. I can't believe I forgot to put that one down to start with, heh.

I'll never forget the first time I saw Benoit come off of the top of a cage with it, on WCW Thunder I do believe.

I was just...in awe.

Belly-to-Belly suplexes. But not the crappy Edge kind, the Gary Albright/Owen Hart and Kurt Angle kind, which is more off to the side than overhead.

i mark for overhead Belly to Bellys, but when they throw the other guy all the way across the ring.

See Rock vs. Brock at Summerslam and the first move Brock does is a suples just like this
