ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 Now...I'm remembering back to all the video packages for Mr. America, La Resistance, Goldberg...they'd show them on both rosters, making it seem like that person would be open to come on either. Now...with the Matrix promo on Raw...and the Ultimo one on Smackdown...it seems like it possible whoever Matrix guy is will be Raw...and Ultimo WILL (to Smarks relief) be Smackdown. Am I right in thinking that...or a deluded fool?
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 This is true... I preferred it when they were on both shows. Gave you a bit of anticipation to see who would be on what brand.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 Finding a Small meager good note in a field of suck isn't gonna help much. Hey, I take what I can get. I started watching in Mid-94...all I really had then was the Bret/Owen feud. ...though, I did see the Backland/B. Hart feud from it's start...
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 30, 2003 To be fair the entire Shawn/Razor/Diesel angle was pretty decent...

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 Not to sound stupid, but what was the Matrix Promo they showed? Well...it's kinda hard to describe the look...though it did have lines that looked like the Matrix lines that turned into a ball... Spoken word, it was the following. "Wake Up...look around." "Your world is a metaphor...and it's meaning is about to change..."
Guest JRE Report post Posted May 30, 2003 ...I really do hope the Matrix-ish promo was just hyping a new look for Raw. I've been sick of that damn pastel set since it debuted. They can debut new wrestlers other ways...just get rid of the Easter Raw Set.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 30, 2003 It's pretty much bringing in either Jindrak or Billy Gunn... The only two that are returning or being called up...

I noticed he was working dark matches. For that matter, couldn't it be ... David Flair?
JN News 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 I knew that Grenier & Dupree were gonna land on RAW. It make sense being that RAW's tag teams go after the World Tag Team Titles.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 30, 2003 Also...the fact RAW was all PRO-AMERICA the day the war ENDED pointed that The Le Suck was headed to raw...

It's the same fucking thing. They need to get away from the huge screen idea. Just have a small video wall or something. It's a TV show, not a PPV event. And a word on that, if I may. By running Raw and Smackdown in top-tier venues, it really takes away from the PPV atmosphere and makes them seem interchangeable, which is not a good thing. Who wants to pay $35 to watch Monday Night Raw? I think it would be good to go back to running the Manhattan Center or something for a while. It's kind of too late now, though. Glad I got that out.
