Who is WWE's biggest jobber?

Off the top of my head, I would say Spike Dudley. I cannot remember the last time I saw him get a pinfall victory. And while he regularly wrestles on Heat and stuff, he never wins. Is there any other regualr performer with a lower win percentage? Tommy Dreamer maybe? Steven Richards?

Posted

there wa sactually a period where Spike was winning a few matches on heat...he beat guys like Rico, Richards, and a few jobbers.....i would say the biggest jobber in the WWE now is Steven Richards....the guy had a few wins on heat but now he doesnt even get a freakin entrance on Raw anymore.

Besides him Justin Credible before he left was just a name jobber. He lost every single week on Heat for several months

On Smackdown I would have to put Crash Holly in the driver's seat.

Jamie Noble. For the kind of workrate he has, it's a shame he keeps doing the job on Velocity, let alone serving only as Nidia's "valet" on SD!.

Funaki, especially in his days with Taka.

I'm thinking you could also make a case for D-Von Dudley. I notice when the Dudleys win a tag match, Bubba usually gets the pin. When they lose, D-Von usually gets pinned.

Yup...I wonder why...

Definetley Jamie Noble- His in ring work is some of the best in WWE yet he jobs all the time.

Seriously. Nidia must be pretty portly in Steph's eyes to warrant Noble pulling jobber duty for Orlando-F'N-Jordan, who I hadn't even heard of before their Velocity match.

yep, it's freakin sad that a guy with the talent, workrate, psychology of Jamie Knoble can be relegated to being a jobber. It's really not fair at all. They should just drop the trailor trash gimmick and let him be Jamie San again ^_^

Blatantly stolen from this thread on CRZ's board.

A few points before I begin. The results used are from PPVs, RAWs, Smackdowns, Velocitys and American Heats. (Not the weird pre-PPV British versions. However, I *will* include the UK-only PPVs starting next month.)

A main event is the last match on a PPV or a match in the final segment of RAW or Smackdown only. It doesn't matter what they called Hogan/McMahon or Rock/Austin - Brock/Angle was the only main event at Wrestlemania. If a TV show ends with an interview, there was no main event. Velocity and Heat do not have main events.

Win percentages are: (# WINS + [# NO CONTESTS / 2] ) / # MATCHES. A tie in the Top Ten categories is broken via # wins. A tie in the bottom ten is broken via # losses.

Main event percentages are: # MAIN EVENTS / # MATCHES

Wrestlers are not included if they are currently out injured (or shooting a movie), if they no longer work for the WWE, or if they have wrestled less than five matches thusfar in 2003. (Because that really can fuck the statistics up. Nathan Jones is sitting at 100%, but that's because he's only had two damn matches.)

(For the record, those wrestlers not included - almost all for having four or less 2003 matches - are: Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, B-2, Doug and Danny Basham, Batista, Eric Bischoff, D'Lo Brown, Mike Bucci, Rene Dupree, Edge, Goldberg, Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan/Mr. America, Ivory, Nathan Jones, Orlando Jordan, Chris Kanyon, Stacy Kiebler, Billy Kidman, Jerry Lawler, Vince McMahon, Kevin Nash, Sean O'Haire, Randy Orton, Roddy Piper, Raven, William Regal, The Road Warriors, The Rock, Jim Ross, Sable, the Tough Enough III winners and a multitude of jobbers from Heat and Velocity.)

Cruiserweights are only on those on Smackdown, and only those wrestling in the Cruiserweight division. Therefore, the likes of Chris Benoit and Nunzio are not listed in the top 5 Cruiserweights section, even though both have enough points to place.

With that in mind, here's the 2003 WWE Statistics through May. (This includes last night's Velocity, but does not include the Heat that's been taped for tonight.)

Going by percentages, it's Dreamer.

Actually, by this accounting, Dreamer and Dawn Marie are tied. I wonder why they didn't list them as such…

But they both have the same amount of wins and Nowinski has one more loss.....unless you count a no contest as a win :P

His formula is:

(#Wins + .5 * #NC)/#Losses

Nowinski is then 2.5/14

Dreamer is 2/12

Could it be that only one of those guys has a winning record, with the only one being a newcomer who will probably be jobbing out very soon?

I find this the saddest because non of these guys are getting main event pushes, and they deserve it other than Shelton and Charlie.
