The Dames Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 Mole, I sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart for not banning tank abbott the moment that I read his comment and giving him a mere warning. Honestly, this has bothered me ever since it happened and although I was initially disgusted with the comment, I truly didn't "get it" until recently. Someone that I care very much about just lost someone as well and reminded me that if the situation were to be reversed and I was in your shoes, I would be revolted and appauled at the fact that he wasn't promptly banned. I am in deep fear of losing my mother, for she is the one person on this Earth who truly is selfless with all of the things that she does for me. I surprise myself sometimes with the amount of pride I have...and the lengths that I'll go to maintain it. Tank didn't deserve my word after that and I feel like I came across almost as offensive as he did. I made these new rules to try and improve the board and yet I completely botched this call and right now, I'm even questioning whether or not I'm fit to be the TSM Admin. I throw myself at your mercy. Dames

You've done a terrific job running this site since you took over and this board is head and shoulders above any other board I've been too. Don't beat yourself up over one bad call- You have a thankless job but I do think you do a wonderful job running this site and the board.

The thread Mole started showed that, while many people wanted him banned, there were some who thoght that it wasn't a banabble offence. The calls you've made recently with the new rules and the bannings show that you're doing a good job.

And honestly, I can't see why this whole Mole thing could not have been dealt with through PMs. Just my 2 cents.

If half the mods of other boards were as hands on as you are then every board would be brilliant. You run a better site than all the other wrestling sites out there, as well as the one that I write for. We will all move on from this and forget tank even existed in a day or so, and Mole has forgiven you, so no need for anything else to be said.

You're human. You will screw up, you will misjudge, and sometimes, just SOMETIMES, you'll make a mistake. It happens, mang. I think we with a head on our shoulders still trust you and your judgement to do things.

Last week he felt like he made a questionable move when he whacked Jubuki for his insensitive 9-11 comments. This was a subject that is very close to Dames' heart. This week he balked at whacking a poster who made an insensitive comment towards a subject very close to someone elses heart...probably because he still isn't sure he was right about banning Jubuki. Just remember one thing: They were both assholes and the board is a better place without them. The end.

Knowing the strange unity of people on this board, we'll get all "Lord of the Flies" on his ass at a later date As for the 9-11 comments, i never read them, so i'm not in a position to judge the person who said them. I understand that the event was traumatic & it still deeply affects people, especially from that part of the country. My point is, yes what was said was wrong, but in my opinion it should also point out that, for the record, other people (myself included) thrive on reaction. Some people do it for just the reaction people will give, & you do it in a joking manner as opposed to Jabuki's malicious comments. I, as do others, find it's best to use humor to either get through or help yourself in some perverse way. Anyway, i'm rambling so i'll just quit by saying that stupid jokes & references are one thing, but intent to offend is another, & i just don't want those getting mixed up. Again, tank is a little bitch. May he be raped by Glenn Jacobs upon his demise.

I'm pretty sure you're at least 1% human, Eyebrow, so show some maturity and compassion where due. If you're not into that, than fine, don't post anything. M
