Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 I too like Scott Hudson. I was thinking about the AJ Styles/Russo thing. Back when AJ lost to JJ the first time he tried to allign himself with Russo so that he could learn to have that killer instinct and do whatever it takes to win when he got his next title shot. ...In a VERY round about and confusing way that came full circle. Now let's see if they ever mention it.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 I guaretee you it was an accident but indeed in a round about way it makes sense. Sort of. Who cares, Aj's the champ! ZIP IT!
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted June 12, 2003 You know, I thought this would be a "placeholder" show just to build steam going into next week. I got one of my all time favorites debuting FINALLY. And one of my newfound favorites in the past year getting his just dues. Call it the mark in me, but Douglas + AJ as champion=Best. Main Event. Ever.
JN News 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Ah yes, The Franchise has finally come to TNA. All is right with the world.
Astro101 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 I wanted a World Title Match on the show next week...but I'll take this tag match. Sting rocks...but will they play up the WWA/NWA thing? Scott Hudson is back, I like him more than Goldy. I liked when Schivone was there they made him the SEX interviewer. I wouldn't mind Hudson and Goldy splitting time up like that. All the interference from SEX or Xtreme Revolution, 2 Evenflows doesn't take out JJ. Now we know what does. A guitar shot and the Styles Clash. Now that's how you surprise the people. BTW, Sharkboy and New Jack is gold.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Highlight of the night (except for Styles winning the gold): The entire crowd POPPING when Russo hit JArrett with the guitar. You could just feel the excitement over the impending title change.
Astro101 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 I think if JJ kicked out the heel section would've stormed the ring.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Highlight of the night (except for Styles winning the gold): The entire crowd POPPING when Russo hit JArrett with the guitar. syxx2001 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 i think they should have went to the first building tna was held in. somewhere in alabama right? that way it would be bigger and they could use that cool set again.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Highlight of the night (except for Styles winning the gold): The entire crowd POPPING when Russo hit JArrett with the guitar. You could just feel the excitement over the impending title change. No kidding, bps. When did we EVER think Vince Russo would get a babyface pop!? Seriously though, AJ got the belt and as bps said, it makes sense. However, the crowd STILL is not a group JJ fans, though he's not the champ. So how the hell do you (logically) turn him heel if he's feuding with AJ and Russo?
The Dames 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 This sucks. AJ Wins the Title. Douglas Debuts. The Heel Section make BPS and Bob Barron signs... and I didn't get to see the fucking show. Dames

The Dames 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 I'm sorry Dames. I'm getting a copy of the tape from tpww7. Can anyone tell me what the sign said? Bob Barron Begged For This Sign apparently. I'm going to make them make another sign for next week. "Bob dropped the ball" Dames
syxx2001 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 and syxx is cool i want a sign. put syxx is gay or something. but make sure it says 2001 so people wont think its sean waltman you are talking about. and i think sting and jarrett will tag up, but will have some tension before the match and sting will betray jarrett cause the fans hate jarrett anyway, so sting leaving will give him a big pop. jarrett will go all crazy and styles will end up pinning him, hopefully setting up sting/jarrett. sorta like that raw when DX betrayed hhh and walked backstage during the 8 man tag. it was the raw before the smackdown when foley turned cactus. The Dames 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Hey Bro, don't listen to him... "Bob Barron Dropped The Ball" seems good enough. Dames
Guest TheBro Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Yeah man I had pegged that first thing this morning as a sign next week, Great Minds think Alike.... Of course that can be taken as a compliment or a put down when compared to my writing Anyways I was thinking about that one or one that simply say's ' Barron Blew It '
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 12, 2003 The big masked guy who attacked Watts & co. was an indy worker who goes by the name of Prince Justice, doing a masked gimmick called "The Abyss". Guest tpww7 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 --A couple of notes from TNA. The ownership is spending money, as there have been a few front office hirings in the last month, they have bought a new set that debuts next week, and Sting, who debuts on Wednesday, doesn't come cheap. New set? Nice
