Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 22, 2003 Which of the following wrestlers/Performers do you believe are the LEAST likely to (re) Sign with WWE? Jeff Jarrett Shane Douglas Bret Hart Sting Lex Luger Sid Vicious Randy Savage Ultimate Warrior Buff Bagwell Jeff Hardy So what's you take? My take The LEAST likely? Jeff Jarrett or Shane Douglas. Douglas is black balled from WWE as long as Vince, Shawn, Nash, Hunter and Flair are alive. Jarrett burned his bridges not once but TWICE and McMahon seems to have some serious hatred for him...and besides Jarrett can sell his mediorce talent on Daddy's promotion for the 3 more months it exists. Although Luger was pretty much charged for murder by WWE crack investigative staff...Never count wwe to go "INSTANT HEEL!" when the times get real desperate... Bagwell can be squarely blamed for the Invasion bombing(well most of it) but Vince likes a Muscle clad gimmicky worker (look at Orton recent push) If Sid could walk...He'd get a contract offer and that wouldn't suck if they use him like ECW used him during that 3 month stint. (run in...pop the crowd...Put over Heel mid-carder and leave). Instead Sid headlines with Lesnar. (Although Sid of 1996 against Lesnar would be fun to watch) Warrior? HHH still wants that Job back. Randy Savage, if wasn't asking for a high price; would be contacted already but until his demands lessen...that wont happen...and He would have to be a RAW talent because He and Hogan cant be in the same building. Sting has been neogotiating and It's only a matter of time he gets drawn into the money...He can still run the field. Bret Hart...If the DVD does come around...Bret will get his goodbye speech. Jeff Hardy...I'm betting is back by October. You heard it here... So whats yer take?

Guest Rob Edwards Report post Posted June 22, 2003 Jarrett and Luger for me, Vince hates Jarrett and even Luger has enough pride not to work for someone who's accused him of murder
Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 22, 2003 ^ That brings somethng up...Vince wouldnt be stupid enough to hire some one whom was CAUGHT red handed with Roids would he? I mean...yeah Angle and Steiner and HHH are roided but we havent seen legit proof but luger has been profed... Luger=Conseco of Wrestling....
Guest Rob Edwards Report post Posted June 22, 2003 Hogan had to admit it in court and he re-hired him so I wouldn't read too much into that
Adam 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 I'm gonna go with Sid, seeings as he can't wrestle, and he can't talk either.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted June 22, 2003 Marcus Bagwell. There's NO WAY he's going to be in the WWE ever again. Bagwell had one redeeming feature (his crowd reaction), and that was erased the second he worked "the WCW style" in his first match on WWE TV.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 I'm going with Lex Luger, though Double J is a close second.
Guest Nanks Report post Posted June 22, 2003 Bret Hart. After seeing him speak at the WWA show in Melbourne he will never be going near a WWE ring again.
Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted June 22, 2003 Bret Hart. After seeing him speak at the WWA show in Melbourne he will never be going near a WWE ring again. He seems to have mended a few bridges with McMahon though... unlike some of the others.
Guest Nanks Report post Posted June 22, 2003 This was a month ago. He said he was happy to help out Andrew McManus with his tour, but he would never be working for any other promoters.
Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted June 22, 2003 All I'm saying is that McMahon wouldn't tell Bret to fuck himself, like he would with some of the others. That instantly makes him more likely than them.
Guest caboose Report post Posted June 22, 2003 I mean...yeah Angle and Steiner and HHH are roided but we havent seen legit proof but luger has been profed... Hold on, did I miss something? I never thought Angle was on steroids.
LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 I mean...yeah Angle and Steiner and HHH are roided but we havent seen legit proof but luger has been profed... Hold on, did I miss something? I never thought Angle was on steroids. Around here the guys think that if you bulk up you're automatically on roids and there's no other explanation for it. Like perhaps actually busting your ass doing it legitimitely. Anyway back to the topic, i'd say if there was 1 wrestler who had NO chance in hell it would be Shane Douglas. All the shit he has talked, all the bridges he's burned, the terms he left with WWE on would equal to him NEVER being seen in a WWE ring again. Mcmahon hates him, The Clique hates, JR hates him....everybody hates him!
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 Plus he has nothing to offer the company in the way of making it better (Douglas)
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 When Hell Freezes Over...Owen Hart will be standing in the ring. Either him or Andre the Giant.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 (edited) Bagwell can be squarely blamed for the Invasion bombing(well most of it) How so? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, my pick is Warrior, he just HATES McMahon and will never eeeeeeeeeever come back unless he sells himself out. Not only was a poor worker, but he didn't get along with the production guys / promoters / bookers. The Ultimate Whiner is more like it. Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted June 22, 2003 How so? In Vince's eyes he can.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 In Vince's eyes he can. Like someone was saying, Vince likes bulk guys. And I doubt somebody who only wrestled one match can be blamed as the SOLE reason why a five month storyline didn't work so well. That would just be asinine. I think he blamed Bagwell for the first ever "WCW Raw" match being horrible, and having the crowd shit all over it. This stopped them continuing with WCW Raw in the long term... Just John 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 I wouldn't blame Bagwell for the whole angle failing, but certainly didn't get it started on the right foot. Come on, all you had to do was have a good 5-7 minute match with Booker T (who can hold his own) and you start using chinlocks a minute in to the match? As soon as the fans started chanting "this match sucks," you knew it was over for poor Buff.
Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted June 22, 2003 In fairness though, the fans shit on it right off the bat

Just John 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 "In fairness though, the fans shit on it right off the bat " That's because that's when the match started to suck. The fans probably didn't know too much about either guy and Booker and Buff clearly weren't used to the WWF sized rings. Booker got in a couple of kicks, then the chinlocks started. I really want to know what was going through their minds as the hate poured from the stands. Edit to include: "Who was that?" Hurricane, I think.

This stopped them continuing with WCW Raw in the long term... I guess that's why Vince doesn't want to do anything WCW-related anymore. I wouldn't mind seeing an Invasion II since they're getting all the big names in now. All they need is Sting

The fans were pissed about having a WCW main event or something.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2003 No, even before that, hell their ENTRANCES were booed heavily. It was uncomfortable. The fans were pissed about having a WCW main event or something. I think that's why it went so badly. Booker and Bagwell were just dong the usual, but WWE fans just hated WCW guys and pretty much shitted on the whole thing. I felt really bad for Booker, not sure what to say about Bagwell except you never saw him again...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted June 22, 2003 No: Luger - will probably be on either probation or in jail for all the roids. Warrior - he would have to be the worlds biggest hypocrite to go crawling back to Vince after all the crap he's spewed about Vince, the WWE and everyone else thats gone back. Jarrett - as long as NWA TNA is still floating around anyway.. Shane Douglas - I don't see him coming back. Sid - I don't think he's wrestling any more. Maybe: Bret Hart - I only think that Bret will come back as long as he gets time to talk, and even Bret Hart coming back just to give a big speech would be a big enough event for him to come back. Savage - if he didn't want so much money, Im fairly sure he'd be back by now. Bagwell - all I know is despite what happened in his first go round with the WWE, he's probably better than half of the people currently on RAW. Yes Jeff Hardy - I figure he'll be back after he gets his mind clear/straight, and contrary to what he says/said, I think he'd rather be wrestling than doing whatever it is that he's doing now. Sting - I still think he'll be back at some point soon. He's probably the last name from WCW that could draw still.
