Guest BobBacklundRules Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 The following is from WWE.com RVD is preparing to open his own comics store, called RVD's Five-Star Comics, in the Lakewood Mall in Long Beach, CA, near that city's airport. RVD recently signed the lease on the store and is shooting for an opening in either the first or third week of July. I won't be responsible for a lot of the day-to-day operation. I can't, I live on the road. I live in the air, RVD said Monday before RAW. But I'm a huge comic book fan. I'm not just lending my name to it, it's my store. Aside from comics, RVD says the store will also be selling unique collectibles, namely authentic, autographed ring-worn paraphernalia from himself and some of his friends. Whatever I can do to get people excited about the place, he said. The one thing he'll never get rid of is his personal museum dedicated to his favorite comic-book character, Ghost Rider. I probably have the only Ghost Rider museum in my house, he said. I have everything that I know of with Ghost Rider on it. If I find something I don't have, I buy it. Any collectible item involving Ghost Rider. That's my main thing. But in a month I probably pick up 25 different comic titles. I read them all the time.
Guest Nevermortal Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 ::coughHeadShopcough:: You beat me to it! Dammit!
Guest nikowwf Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 The love of Ghost Rider must come from the fact that his head is always on fire. niko
Guest Quik Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 How long until he starts selling water pipes and hukas? For tabacco use only, I'm sure.
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 ::coughHeadShopcough:: You beat me to it! Dammit! I think we were all thinking it when we saw the title. Why not quotation marks in the article?
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I'm sure he'll smoke the competition.
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Well, I guess you just can't have a RVD thread without numerous pot references, eh?
Guest BobBacklundRules Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Why not quotation marks in the article? I copied it from wrestlinginc.com and not wwe.com and all the quatation marks were f'd up so i just got rid of them. big lazy...look out
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Well, I guess you just can't have a RVD thread without numerous pot references, eh? Of course you can't. Don't be a dope.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Really, let's weed out all these pot references...
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Really, let's weed out all these pot references... I don't know about that. We could keep them up, and bring this thread down in a blaze of glory.
Guest Vitamin X Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I'd laugh if it stayed in business and made more profit than The World did..
Guest Flyboy Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 God, this thread is hilarious. Lighten up, Canadianchick. Geez.
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I didn't say anything negative about the pot references, Flyboy. It was just an observation. Keep it up guys. I wonder how many ways there are to refer to pot...
Guest Zack Malibu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Flyboy was just tryin' to smoke you, CC.
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I think it's high time these pot references stopped, and we got back to the issue at hand.

Guest Zack Malibu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Man, you expect the humor to go up in smoke, just like that?
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I suggest starting a grass roots movement, to bring back the humor to TSM.
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Geez guys, I really expected more high-end humour from you guys.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Yeah guys, I mean, CC expects more out of this joint!
Guest OnlyMe Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Geez guys, I really expected more high-end humour from you guys. Oooh... burn
Guest Zack Malibu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 The humor is fading fast. Let's spark it up.
{''({o..o})''} Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 This place will never have to worry about the Department of Immigration because everybody's got their papers.
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Geez guys, I really expected more high-end humour from you guys. Oooh... burn Huh? Anyways, I would take credit for starting this all, but even I know it was a joint effort.
