Rob Van Dam Set To Open His Own Store

The following is from WWE.com

RVD is preparing to open his own comics store, called RVD's Five-Star Comics, in the Lakewood Mall in Long Beach, CA, near that city's airport. RVD recently signed the lease on the store and is shooting for an opening in either the first or third week of July.

I won't be responsible for a lot of the day-to-day operation. I can't, I live on the road. I live in the air, RVD said Monday before RAW. But I'm a huge comic book fan. I'm not just lending my name to it, it's my store.

Aside from comics, RVD says the store will also be selling unique collectibles, namely authentic, autographed ring-worn paraphernalia from himself and some of his friends. Whatever I can do to get people excited about the place, he said.

The one thing he'll never get rid of is his personal museum dedicated to his favorite comic-book character, Ghost Rider.

I probably have the only Ghost Rider museum in my house, he said. I have everything that I know of with Ghost Rider on it. If I find something I don't have, I buy it. Any collectible item involving Ghost Rider. That's my main thing. But in a month I probably pick up 25 different comic titles. I read them all the time.

The love of Ghost Rider must come from the fact that his head is always on fire.

How long until he starts selling water pipes and hukas?

For tabacco use only, I'm sure.

I think we were all thinking it when we saw the title.

Why not quotation marks in the article?

I'm sure he'll smoke the competition.

Well, I guess you just can't have a RVD thread without numerous pot references, eh?

I don't know about that. We could keep them up, and bring this thread down in a blaze of glory.

I'd laugh if it stayed in business and made more profit than The World did..

I didn't say anything negative about the pot references, Flyboy. It was just an observation. Keep it up guys. I wonder how many ways there are to refer to pot...

Flyboy was just tryin' to smoke you, CC.

I think it's high time these pot references stopped, and we got back to the issue at hand.

Man, you expect the humor to go up in smoke, just like that?

I suggest starting a grass roots movement, to bring back the humor to TSM.

Geez guys, I really expected more high-end humour from you guys.

Yeah guys, I mean, CC expects more out of this joint!

The humor is fading fast. Let's spark it up.

Huh?

Anyways, I would take credit for starting this all, but even I know it was a joint effort.
