Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted June 28, 2003 There's a lot, but i'm a definite Freebird mark. Hayes may have been below average in the ring, but he had the best charisma. & Jimmy Garvin looks like mah man, Ron Jeremy. I only have really seen the WCW Birds, but from the little i've seen of the originals, they owned. Honorable mentions: Hugh Morrus (pre Invasion), Justin Credible in ECW (well, SOME justin in ECW), Waylon Mercy, evil Doink, Butch Reed & maybe the current Erik Watts in TNA. Guest croweater Report post Posted June 28, 2003 I must admit. I would MARK OUT if Tatanka came Wardancing down the ramp on RAW.
Guest dvkorn Report post Posted June 28, 2003 I, too, liked Hugh Morrus when he was in WCW in the misfits and feuding with Storm and the like. Yes.. Hugh Morrus.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted June 28, 2003 It's all about the Repo Man. Even as a markish little kid, I totally marked out for him. He was hilarious AND evil.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Jorge Estrada. I don't know why I liked him, I just did.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted June 28, 2003 I like Jorge too. It might be because I saw him at a piss ant indy show shortly before he showed up in the TNA. My friend and I both said that Jorge was the best wrestler on the card with a good look and real potential. So, it's kind of nice to be proven right as he's certainly doing better right now than the other no-names we saw. As an aside, the main event was Buff Bagwell and Disco Inferno. Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Samoans. I was scared to death of Afa and Sika when I was little, and I thought the Samoan Swat Team/Headshrinkers and Tonga Kid were all really underrated for the time period. I'm also of the belief that Rikishi could have been the next big thing in early 2000 if the stupid "running over Austin" angle hadn't ruined it. Sadly, I also cheered for 3 Minute Warning, and a little (tiny) part of me was sad that Jamal was released.
Just John 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2003 While he may not be a good wrestler, The Big Show can be pretty damn funny. I like him in backstage skits that don't involve screaming and spitting. Others: Bryan Clark (as Wrath) The Cat
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Report post Posted June 29, 2003 A-Train Bossman (late 1999-2000 especially....nothing like his RR2000 entrance where he spends 90 seconds walking around flipping off the crowd) Wrath Scott Norton The Berzerker
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Todd, you should check out the Islanders then. They were the best Samoan tag team I've ever seen. And (Y) for the Repo Man love.
Guest Ray Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Kane Sure, he’s a big tall hoss, but I loved his old gimmick. The fire, the mask, the cool outfit (the black one was so damn cool). He entertained me quite a bit. I even thought he was improving as a wrestler around 2001. He died for me when he came back from his injury in 2002. Lame new outfit, crappy new mask, and to top it all off, the Kaneroonie.

Guest kingkamala Report post Posted June 29, 2003 As you can tell I'm a pretty big Kamala mark, the guy had the best facial reactions for any wrestler I've ever seen.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Bossman (late 1999-2000 especially....nothing like his RR2000 entrance where he spends 90 seconds walking around flipping off the crowd) That was in 2000? I thought it was in 2001 when Taker AND Kane were in the ring and Scotty had just been destroyed in about fifteen seconds, so Bossman did the smart thing and stayed the hell away from the ring. Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Todd, you should check out the Islanders then. They were the best Samoan tag team I've ever seen Ah, you're right. The Islanders are one of the best teams of that late 80's-Early 90's WWF tag scene. Though they get lost in the shuffle of the Awesomeness of the Rockers, the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs and Demolition- Haku used to be a real talented wrestler, and Tama/Tonga Kid is probably the best Samoan wrestler out there. I need to go watch some Islanders/Rockers matches now...

Guest bravesfan Report post Posted June 30, 2003 My guilty pleasures: The Big Show. Test. Bossman. Bryan Clark. All incarnations of the Polynesian wrestling family. (except Snuka). Bossman (late 1999-2000 especially....nothing like his RR2000 entrance where he spends 90 seconds walking around flipping off the crowd) That was in 2000? I thought it was in 2001 when Taker AND Kane were in the ring and Scotty had just been destroyed in about fifteen seconds, so Bossman did the smart thing and stayed the hell away from the ring. Bossman's spiel was in 2000, staying away from Rikishi, who was alone in the ring. The next entrant after Scotty's elimination in 2001 was Steve Austin. On a side note, Bossman wasn't entered in the 2001 Rumble.
Guest ShamRock Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Kevin Nash..there I said it. There is the walk and the talk on the mic that's cool about it and plus, he's one of the most unintentional funny guys in the WWE. Long Live Nash!
Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Yeah, Repo ruled it, but i mark for Darsow period. He was just so funny yet heelish, which we need more of these days. I too like Bryan Clarke. he was actually one of the better big men in the mid 90s, & i'm amazed that Vince didnt go all the way with him. Adams was good too. Ed Leslie was also one of mine. Pre Bootyman, anyway. Nash is great on the mic, i'll give him that. he's entertaining, imo, but people on the net always seem to dwell on the negative aspects of people, even if they are asshole politicians. & Paul Wight is a funny guy. i would have no problem if he did a midcard comedy gimmick, like in 2000.
