Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Match #1: Angle/Brock vs. Team Angle *Angle does most of the work cause Brock has to rest up for his match with the Big Show - Team Angle works on Kurts neck and trap Brock and work on his leg (or ribs, whatever). The match basically has Brock and Angle saving each other - but Angle doing most of the work. Angle should be positioned in a 'higher' position than Brock in this match. Finish comes with Angle fighting off both Benjamin and Haas, Angle-slamming both, but tiring out and is unable to get an effective pin-cover. Brock steps in and F-5's Haas onto Benjamin for the win. Brock celebrates and Angle has a "what the fuck" kinda look on his face. I'd personally have Tazz come to the ring to interview Brock on his thoughts on the match and his up-coming match with the Big Show later in the night. Brock talks about how tough Team Angle was, how he had to save Kurt once or twice during that match, and how he's confident that he'll beat Big Show. Tazz then leaves the ring before talking to a tired Angle. #Last Match: Brock vs. Big Show Big Show focuses his attack on Brocks injured Rib/Leg/whatever. Brock is still able to get the better of him. Team Angle comes down but Kurt stops them and takes them out. Kurt is left at ring side. Big Show gets the advantage, Kurt runs-in and Angle Slams him. Brock gets the win. This does two things: It reflects the Armageddon title win where Brock F-5'd Big Show for Angle to win, and it reflects the earlier match where Brock took the credit for saving Angle - Angle gets pay-back. On Smackdown Tazz does an in-ring interview with Brock and Kurt about what went down at Vengeance. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Yeah, too bad the following month, it was Vince the Rock had to pin to get the WWF Championship back instead of his arch-nemesis HHH. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go over Foley at SS and then drop the title to Wrestler X at Unforgiven... Knowing Trips, we'll be seeing the PPV Rematch formula working again. Get a DQ finish the first time, then bury the opponent the following PPV. DQ finish at SummerSlam, Another burial / a possible jobbing (by pinfall) at Unforgiven, you read it here first. I honestly think that HHH will finally drop the title at SummerSlam and then move over to Smackdown following it for a nice september buildup for the beautiful wedding he and steph will have. If this is true this will be Steph's 3rd fuckin TV marriage and the first 2 ended up being disasters. Not, to mention she was a witness in the gay wedding one, so Steph will be involved in 4, count em, 4 weddings on TV with the first 3 going bad. LOL, I never realized that, but then again, that's soap opera-like "weddings" for you.
