So where and when was it in the movie? near the beginning, when norton was going to the cancer support group. they're doing a meditation exercise. the speaker asks everyone to imagine their pain as a white ball of healing light, and tells them to go deep inside their "cave." norton imagines himself in the little snow cave, the speaker says that in the cave you'll find your power animal. his power animal is a penguin. it says "slide," and it slides down the ice in the cave.
