The Worst Show You Have Ever Seen

Recommended Posts

Guest razazteca

If you have WAM! or the Encore Movieplex channel you can witness the worst shows on cable tv.

Altantis High or The Tribe and the whole Sunday lineup. I feel sorry for the Aussies or teens from New Zealand who had to watch these programs.

Hey hey...the first two episodes of Stripperella were surprisingly good. The episode tonight sucked, but the show isn't nearly as bad as i expected. Supposedly it's been cancelled and there's only 4 episodes, so I'll never find out if the show could live up to the potential it displayed.

Also to whoever mentioned TNN's animation block. Gary The Rat isn't a bad show at all. The second episode of the new Ren & Stimpy was alot better than the first, so there's still hope for it.

About 10 years ago, Fox had a show called "The Edge". It absolutely sucked, although it did have Jennifer Aniston and Wayne Knight (before either of them hit it big though). It only lasted 17 eps.

I'll also vote for the Emerill Show and Baby Bob.

The Secret Diary of Desmond Phieffer.

I never saw it, but damn I don't think I needed to see it to decide that it was bad.

Imagine the brain-storming session for that show:

TV exec: Ok, let's make a comedy about a black butler of Abe Lincoln during the Civil War. Let's make Abe look like a complete idiot and the First Lady a horny old woman.

Other TV exec: By God, that's genius! It's stuff like this that will put UPN on the map!

As for shows I have seen: Scare Tactics. More morally bankrupt and stupid than Rob Black.

The Paula Poundstone Show. Somebody gave this usually unfunny woman her own show with no real format and asked her to go an hour with it. It lasted two episodes (which was two episodes too long IMHO).

I love how Clerks: The Animated Series referenced The Secret Diary of Desmond Pheiffer, like it was a classic show to draw inspiration for crazy schemes from.

"Ahh, classic Pheiffer."

Anyone try watching The Pitts? Blergh.

I can't get into Yu-Gi-Oh. It has a large following, and seems fairly complex, but whenever I try to watch it it's just SO BLATANTLY a commercial for the damn card game.

How someone read the scrpit for that show and thought that it would be a great addition to the Fox line up, I'll never know. That was very unfunny.

First of all, someone other than me remember this show?

Secondly...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!~? Any show with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Brittany Daniel (one of the Sweet Valley Twins, who was also on That 80's Show and guest starrred on Dawson's Creek) and Shane McDermott (the star of AIRBORNE~!) is NOT a bad show. Hell, my "Oooh I love myself" tagline I occassionally use came from that show. I still have most of the episodes on tape (I'm missing like 4 or so from the whole run).

And to make it even worse, they take away Andy Richter Controls the Universe to show that crap.

That would be "Woops!" from the early days of FOX Sunday Night TV.

'undressed' (i think it was called), on mtv. that show made me want to puke bile, it was so embarrassingly bad. it had 367,205 characters, and NONE of them had ANY defining characteristics. all any of these 367, 205 characters wanted was sex, and mtv thought that cutting between all these stories in little 2-minute segments was a) clever and b) possible to follow. i can follow jean-luc godard movies and i couldn't follow that worthless piece of shit. every segment was either "characters X and Y are about to have sex," "characters X and Y have just had sex," or "characters X and Z are talking about X having sex with Y." reality tv notwithstanding, it was THE single most shallow thing i have EVER seen. period. i've had goldfish with more depth of character than the writing and the acting of that show. it was like some 14-year-old kid saw 'your friends and neighbors' and thought, "hey, a bunch of shallow people that only want to have sex makes great entertainment!" and forgot to make any point about it.

Yeah..this show makes me sick. However, it did have Jason Frank, the original Green Power Ranger making out with Alyson Kiperman, a future Yellow Power Ranger. Heh.

Undressed was very bad. It was softcore porn for 15 year olds (minus the nudity). None of the characters were worth caring about. Some of the worst acting on tv.

Although Xander from Buffy was on an ep. In a non getting laid role.

Undressed, while a horrible show, is somehow very addicting when MTV is showing a marathon of it, and it's past 1 in the morning, AND you're trying to finish writing a research paper that's due the next day. Trust me on this one.

As for my pick for worst show, there was this horrible little thing called Big Wave Dave's that came on several years ago for maybe 4 or 5 shows. I can't remember one single thing that happened on it, or even what network it came on, but I think Patrick Warburton played a surfer dude, which I thought was pretty odd at the time.

I'll admit...Undressed was addicting.

YNA, that wasn't Nicholas Brendon on Undressed, that was his twin brother, Kelly Donovan. I checked the credits. He's the same guy that was used in "The Replacement" where there were 2 Xanders.

Damn right it was. I can remember quite a few of the plots too.

I also used to watch it just to see which former Engel show alumni would show up. Off the top of my head, Sarah Lancaster (Rachel from The New Class) and Kristen Miller (Ashely on USA High, now she's on She Spies).

YES! Kristen Miller! I remember Sarah Lancaster as the bitchy, evil older sister of this girl named Tina who learned how to give a blowjob....I remember too much.

Also, the girl that played Kennedy on Buffy, Iyari Limon, was on for a couple of shows.

J. August Richards, who plays Gunn on Angel, was also on Undressed.

Wait...so I'm not the only one here who

a)Knows who Kristen Miller is, and

b)Finds her to be SMOKIN'?

Dames, my opinion of you grows with each passing post. That's not a suckup, either, freestyle brother.

Oh, my freestyle brother...Kristen Miller was the only reason to watch USA High. Love the accent. Same reason I tolerated That's My Bush.

Jay Hernandez, of Crazy/Beautiful, was also on Undressed as a rebel type who ended up stealing someones girl.

Damn...I kinda watched that show religiously, didn't I.

Dude! Jay Hernandez was the rebel kid who used to sneak into the girls room at night to talk right? Didn't he write her poems or something while she was with some other guy?

I can't believe we're discussing UNDRESSED plotlines.
