Guest spiny norman Posted July 19, 2003 Report Posted July 19, 2003 No. It has gone from picking the best band to picking the most obscure band thus giving yourself a cool elitist feel.

Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted July 19, 2003 Report Posted July 19, 2003 Seriously, if you find these bands obscure, you're just not into music as much. With a few possible exceptions in the punk and metal spots, none of them are all that obscure. Continuing... Green Jelly Green Jelly vs ICP

Guest nl5xsk1 Posted July 19, 2003 Report Posted July 19, 2003 No. It has gone from picking the best band to picking the most obscure band thus giving yourself a cool elitist feel. If people didn't pick obscure/random/alternative bands this thread would have died long ago, or would have been a circle jerk of the same bands over and over again. On a completely different note: I think people should stop choosing a lesser artist just to stop a streak. If a band can win a ton in a row, all the power to them.
Guest godthedog Posted July 19, 2003 Report Posted July 19, 2003 but then we'd still be doing the beatles, and the thread would die.
