Guest Zack Malibu Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 Uh, Zack....SOH personifies "lower-midcard guy with vanilla offense." Cool look aside, he's worthless. It's nice to see that Choken One was wised up and admitted that he doesn't give two shits about wrestling ability. I'm going by his WCW workrate, when he showed he can bust out some cool moves and take to the air, as opposed to finishing people off with DVD variant #43 like he does these days.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 But the difference between his WWE work and his WCW work is like 2 moves.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 The Straight-Arm Clothesline. Which 95% of the time was botched.
Guest Adrian 3:16 Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 Make that Six... The SOH SIX CHOKEN ONE ZACK MALIBU TonyJaymzv1 CHOSUN ONE VYCE LOOSECANNON25 You can add me to that list too- I've been an O'Haire mark since early 2001. I can't not root for a Satanic Irishman. If O'Haire could work the mic, didn't absolutely suck in the ring (WWE style or no), and WWE gave me a reason to give a crap about him, I might end up caring about him someday Funny, you just described my exact stance on Gail Kim.
Guest Aero Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 I'll admit, Sean O'Haire did look awesome with the pool cues... but let's not forget what happened afterwards... he was taken out by Brother Love, of all people.
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 I would also like to be added to the little SOH cult we have here.
Guest Askewniverse Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 so that makes it 10? WHOO! So who are the members now? Vengeance seems to have brought out the SOH fans.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I'm not gonna call Sean O'Haire a good worker, but I would advocate giving him TV time. His (once promising) character might still be salvaged after it was instantly killed by pairing him with someone (and of all people...). I think he'd stand a better chance of getting over in TNA.
Guest Choken One Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 DON'T EVER SAY SOH NEEDS TO BE IN TNA. TNA IS FOR REJECTS AND FLIPPY FLOPPERS! However...Yes more Air time for SOH.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 If that extra air time is on Velocity, then I'm all for it.
Crimson Platypus Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I wouldn't say that I am a SOH fan so much.. but I would mark the hell out for... SOH/Kanyon WWE Tag Team Champions!
Guest Choken One Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I like that Possibility...It has Eliminators written all over it.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 YES! Two underutilized get air time, our boy gets pushed, and we have someone other than the flippin' APA or Bashams in the tag division. Though I'd like to see a Guerrero/O'Haire feud, with Sean cutting his Devil's Advocate promos about the evils of cheating, and Eddie retorting.
Guest Choken One Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Eddy couldn't survive under the spotlight of SOH owning his ass in the promo department.
The Dames Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 TNA IS FOR REJECTS AND FLIPPY FLOPPERS! That's just ignorant, Choken. Dames
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I didn't much care for the Elims...well, one of them had something. I forget his name... The finisher needs to be brought back however, and with those two as a team it would work. But again, I should point out that teaming O'Haire with anyone for any length destroys his character, and that's why he's currently going nowhere.
Guest Choken One Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Yeah I know but I thought the scarcasm was DRIPPING right there
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 O'Haire has never cut a good promo. Ever. You guys are getting boring.
Guest Askewniverse Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Though I'd like to see a Guerrero/O'Haire feud, with Sean cutting his Devil's Advocate promos about the evils of cheating, and Eddie retorting. I'd like to see SOH in any feud. He shouldn't be stuck on Velocity, squashing lower-midcarders.
Guest Choken One Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 ^ Read my above statment to dames as it also pertains to what you said
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 SOH = Cthulhu So count me in folks.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 If O'Haire could work the mic, didn't absolutely suck in the ring (WWE style or no), and WWE gave me a reason to give a crap about him, I might end up caring about him someday Funny, you just described my exact stance on Gail Kim. And I have no reason to fault you for that either, since I care less and less about her every week. And as it has been said before, the only reason O'Haire had good promos was when he could recite lines memorized in advance. He's horrible at ad-libbing. And of course his offense is so horribly blah and generic that he doesn't stand out like he once did in WCW.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Don't you think it's getting old? It's like the cWo all over again.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I fail to see the fault with his intro package, (in the suit, with white background) which I actually thought was an ad for a talk show, it was so professionally done. I still don't understand why people are incapable of reviewing his character potential objectively, I never said he was a good worker, but the gimmick was sound until they saddled him with Piper.
Crimson Platypus Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 If O'Haire could work the mic, didn't absolutely suck in the ring (WWE style or no), and WWE gave me a reason to give a crap about him, I might end up caring about him someday Funny, you just described my exact stance on Gail Kim. I really wish people would stop critisizing wrestlers, especially the largers ones (read, hoss), for their lack of moves.. WWE STYLE FOLKS, get used to it.
