PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2003 Kickass... I for one was getting withdrawal symptoms, I like Les' side projects but none of them touch these bastards.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted August 8, 2003 I'm actually quite fond of the Frog Brigade (though Purple Onion does them no justice...it's all about their live sets) and Oysterhead, even going so far as to blaspheme that I spin Oysterhead far more than I spin Primus. However, I'm definitely looking forward to that DVD.
PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2003 Yeah, I thought 'Riddles are abound tonight' by Sausage was a cool track as well, though I haven't heard the whole CD.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2003 and I'm just getting into primus, and this is great news... man that so rules in all uberness
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2003 That's great. Primus is my favorite of the Les-bands. I've tried to see Frog Brigade twice, unsuccesfully. The last time there was a biker fight/picnic by the venue and it was blocked off, so I decided maybe I should just go to the movies that night instead
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted August 9, 2003 About fucking time. Les, if you don't come through here on the tour, I'm going to beat you with a pool cue and steal your bass. I already can't wait.
Only The Strong Survive 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2003 Random fact: Les tried out for Metallica after Clif Burton was killed...
DARRYLXWF 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2003 Add on to the random fact: Les was denied the position by Metallica on the basis that he was too good.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2003 I'm pretty sure they're releasing a DVD with all their videos on it. I can't wait for that.
Anorak 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2003 What's Primus good for unless you like masturbating over bass solos?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted August 11, 2003 Catchy riffs, cool beats, SWEET bass solos, amusing lyrics, and a fantastic live show, as well as several albums that are put together brilliantly.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Catchy riffs, cool beats, SWEET bass solos, amusing lyrics, and a fantastic live show, as well as several albums that are put together brilliantly. That sums up pretty much what Primus is.
