Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 He can rip on it now that it's bombed...but beforehand you know he did all the interviews going on and on about how great he thought the movie was. It's a smart thing to do now, but a little predictable
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Yah what a funny guy for ripping it, let's all love Affleck because he acknowledges he made a piece of shit movie to further the relationship he has with JLo.....

Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Yah what a funny guy for ripping it, let's all love Affleck because he acknowledges he made a piece of shit movie to further the relationship he has with JLo..... Guest Choken One Report post Posted August 12, 2003 I'm pretty sure I read that Vince made a attempt for Sapp...but he said "No"... Why hasn't WBC or one of the boxing feds attempted to use him as the next Tyson or something?
Gert T 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 I would bet he is not quite ready to give up Japan full-time, that was a shitload of endorsements!
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 SAAAAAAPPP!!!!!!! You can tell he told those stories before, he came off very well. I am disappointed they didn't show Sapp Time and didn't dive deeper into his Japanese Stardom. There are rumours going around about Tyson getting paid 10 mil by Pride to fight Sapp for the Vegas show next year.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Well, Sapp showed he was a Charismatic guy and not just a Big Musclehead... It really helps K1 but maybe it's just me but Sapp is too big (in both senses) to be in K1... He could do PRIDE (unless he is a horrible fighter or something, which I would have to defer to RRR for that) or UFC for the home country push but Jesus...Boxing needs a NEW god and Sapp could be that guy... NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Sapp would destory Tyson. Crocop did destroy Sapp though.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 From imdb dot com. Revolution Studios chief Joe Roth has told the Wall Street Journal that he has had to endure taunts at poker games with fellow movie moguls and was even criticized by his 89-year-old father over the failure of the Jennifer Lopez/Ben Affleck thriller-comedy Gigli. "I hate the humiliation much more than losing money," Roth told the newspaper. Roth conceded that when he saw the original rough-cut of the movie "I wanted to kill myself" and that he never went back to see the new ending that director Martin Brest later added. He also acknowledged that he was upset by fights with the director and has vowed never to give directors "final cut" authority again...
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Sapp vs. Nogueira from Pride: Shockwave is considered one of the greatest MMA fights of all time. He actually picked Nog up right away and gave him a powerdriver (which would be a powerbomb/piledriver combination) and mauled him throughout. He has 'beaten' (some people say that they are questionable wins) Ernesto Hoost twice (they showed a clip of it last night) and Hoost is considered one of, if not the, best kickboxer ever. Sapp isn't a great fighter by any means, but his size and strength is incredible and he trains with some quality fighters. After watching the Leno interview, Sapp could very well be the Hulk Hogan of MMA. Which is to say a really big guy with lots of charisma that draws peoples attention. Guest Choken One Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Just a question...Was he still under contract when WWE brought WCW? I bet vince is kicking himself now...
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 No, he was let go. I have a WCW magazine that has a feature on Sapp too. Nothing big, it just talks about him beating the fridge. I've heard things about Sapp and the WWE, but nothing too concrete.
shlidgn90 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2003 k-1 approached brock lesnar in hopes of fighting sapp. lesnar declined due to the wwe contract.
