alfdogg Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 As a result of his mother's death, Karl Malone has pulled off the team, and Kemp lite...oops, I mean Kenyon Martin...will be his replacement. I guess Abdur-Rahim, Jamison, Ben Wallace, Mashburn, Marion, Stackhouse and Rashard Lewis all fell into a coma or something. Discuss.
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Half of them could care less...
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Well they needed a PF, so I shall assume Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace, Rahim and Jamison were all that fell into a coma. Although yes, where the FUCK is Jamal Mashburn's spot?!
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 If you are looking for Wallace, Look in the County Jail.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Well yeah, but the same could have been said about Iverson and he's on the team. Then again Wallace's tendency to explode on court is probably more of a problem than the off court stuff.
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 and suddenly Iverson is Captain America as well.
Rendclaw Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 After watching the second-tier players get ROLLED by international pro teams, it fired up Iverson, McGrady, Duncan, et al. If I was an NBA superstar, I would have been pissed that we got our asses kicked, too.
alfdogg Posted August 20, 2003 Author Report Posted August 20, 2003 There is a Senior Team? Who else is on it? They refer to the Olympic team as the Men's senior national team sometimes. Malone is still playing in the olympics though. If you are looking for Wallace, Look in the County Jail. I never heard about this...when did it happen? Then again Wallace's tendency to explode on court is probably more of a problem than the off court stuff. If that's their reason for keeping him off...and yet they picked KENYON MARTIN instead...that makes no frickin' sense at all.
alfdogg Posted August 20, 2003 Author Report Posted August 20, 2003 On a side note, I have no problems with Bibby being on the team, but where's STEVE FRANCIS' spot??
Ripper Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Well yeah, but the same could have been said about Iverson and he's on the team. Then again Wallace's tendency to explode on court is probably more of a problem than the off court stuff. *points to Iversons clean record and flips off the media for acting like he is a criminal* *walks out whistling happily*
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 On a side note, I have no problems with Bibby being on the team, but where's STEVE FRANCIS' spot?? Doesn't Francis still have that disease or whatever the fuck?
alfdogg Posted August 20, 2003 Author Report Posted August 20, 2003 The disease is treatable, and if I recall he played all 82 games last season. He does still have it and always will, but it shouldn't keep him from playing.
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Yeah but I thought he needed to get treatment during the off-season...
alfdogg Posted August 20, 2003 Author Report Posted August 20, 2003 Not sure about that. I just heard them talking about it a little bit during one of the Rockets/Lakers games, they said he cut fried foods out of his diet and that helped it. He may get treatment in the offseason though.
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 just to refresh my mind...what exactly disease DOES he have?
alfdogg Posted August 20, 2003 Author Report Posted August 20, 2003 Meniere's disease. The magazine I have said he had lost 60% of his hearing by the time he was diagnosed, then he cut out salts, fried foods and some seafood from his diet and most of the hearing returned.
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 How the FUCK does fatty food cause you go deaf? I've been in the Deaf World for a long time...well all of my time actually but i never heard of anyfuckingbody going deaf cuz of Seafood and shit...
kkktookmybabyaway Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Half of them could care less... Don't let Tyler see this post. Maybe they need Martin's inspiring personality to lead America's team onto victory...
Guest Choken One Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 well fine Half of them ever heard of Howie Dean
Gert T Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Hey does anybody think at all Larry Brown keeps picking these Nets so they'll be worn out come early May during the playoff run?
Bored Posted August 21, 2003 Report Posted August 21, 2003 After being down by 10 the U.S. won tonight 110-76 against Brazil in the opening game of the qualifying tournament. I wonder why it wasn't televised?
