Guest cpac Report post Posted October 30, 2003 This is what you do with your created wrestlers. Create one, build him up doing the season modes and what have you. Than you copy/clone him into new slots, change around the attire and moves. That way you only have to do one character and still get the benefits. The only problem is you cant create other wresters for awhile.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 All your your CAWs would be the exact same in stats though, meaning you couldn't make a, say, Yang, then then an Andre. Well, you could, but they'd have the same stats.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Maybe I missed something here, but do you have to build up all the stats of your CAW's???
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Is there any way to turn off the "Matrix"- style camera effects for finishers and other high-impact moves? I tried turning off the camera angles option, but I still occasionally get the Matrix-effect. Nope.. it's permanent. I kinda wish they had've left it as an additional button press a la SYM. I've currently seen zero effects outside of a slowdown for the People's Elbow, and that was after shutting jsut Camera Angle's off. What moves has it been doing it to you? fazzle 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Woah, I'm at the Rumble now, and I'm teaming with US champ Old School UT against Lesnar and Edge, with both our titles on the line. Why the hell would Cena/UT agree to that damn match? I wanted a chance to decline. It makes no damn sense.

But anyways, are having the legends in season mode optional?Cause I wouldn't want a season where Hillbilly Jim is the WWE Champ and SummerSlam is headlinded by Undertaker vs. Undertaker again. NYU 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Yep. Optional. At the beginning of the season, you can choose to take people out of your season or, in the case of legends, add them in.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 And you can't have both UTs in season mode, I was dissapointed in that. So, Flair wins the Rumble, and all of a sudden he's on Smackdown wanting my title. What the fuck is up with that? No mention of him jumping shows, the game just acts as if he's been there the entire time.

I think he means the finishing moves. Also, for more powerful moves it does a triple-take kind of replay.. an example would be Angle's gut buster.

Has anyone else noticed that the legends [in cpu vs cpu matches that you skip] almost always win? Roddy Piper and Ted DiBiase are near undefeated in my seasons.. Piper even won the CW and WWE titles at the same time. Friggin' insane!
Aero 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 I don't know if it's been asked... but does anyone know the difference between Smackdown A & B arenas? They're pretty much identical from what I can tell.

Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 30, 2003 I'm just curious if anyone actually bothers to read this thread before posting. Reading the same shit five and six times is starting to piss me off. I've read every single reply to this thread, and I know several of the same questions have been asked. A couple of which were answered a long time ago. Are people really that goddamn lazy? I've been here since the beginning as well, but if I was a new guy to this thread, I certainly wouldn't want to read through FORTY FIVE PAGES in order to find the answer to a question that might have been asked before. Geez, it could be worse. They could be starting all new threads instead.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Well, you have to remember at the beginning of this thread, the game was yet to be released. I'm sure everyone has read the first couple of pages anyway, but during prerelease. It wouldn't hurt to backtrack twenty pages though.

Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 One thing I have been wondering that I haven't seen asked is - MATT FACTS. Are there any in this game? Simple yes or not is sufficient, as giving examples shall detract from the overall novelty of it for us late SD! players. UYI I've used Matt once so far and the Matt Fact I got was "Matt only drinks low fat chocolte milk." You know, it's people like you who make me doubt the future of the human race. Can you not READ? Thank you for replying to my post, but i specifically stated that nothing about Matt Hardy be revealved, unless of course it was under spoiler format, as I do not have the game yet. Thanks for going out of your way, but for God's sake have a little consideration next time MATE. UYI

UYI There are about 40-60 Matt Facts - it's pretty weird to say that one example would spoil the experience or novelty of it. One of the first pages in this thread did confirm that "Matt Facts" would be included in the game.

They're pretty much identical from what I can tell. The arena itself is larger and the ramp is longer. RAW A is like in a small building and RAW B is like an MSG Show. Actually, Raw A IS Madison Square Garden. Royal Rumble is the FleetCenter in Boston. I'm pretty sure SummerSlam was modeled after Nassau Coliseum. And WM is obviously Safeco. Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 30, 2003 One of the first pages in this thread did confirm that "Matt Facts" would be included in the game. Didn't you get the memo? Apparently, if you suggest that people read the thread before replying/asking questions, you're being a "bitch" and suggesting something that "no one gives a fuck" about. Isn't that what we've established thus far? By the way, are Matt Hardy's "Matt Facts" in the game?
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 So.. anyone been Rodney Mack yet? Also, a big "WTF" to this.. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I won the World Title from HHH a Armageddon, and Eddie won the Rumble. some stuff happened with Austin/Rock before Mania, but Eddie/Flair went down as promised. I won, and after the match we hugged and JR thought it was the greatest thing ever... then I just killed Eddie with the title belt. What the hell? I didn't see that one coming, so that was neat, but I thought I was having a nice happy moment! I also thought the credits were a let down considering hwo awesome last year's were... that was, until Spoiler (Highlight to Read): John Cena appeared to do a freestyle about HCTP and it's new features. Best credits ever!

Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted October 30, 2003 From an outsiders perspective, what seems easier, reading through 20 pages or more to find your answer, or ask it again knowing that the threads remained active for a while now? Just try to think about it outside of your own head for once and it might not seem so idiotic. Threads this large and active aren't exactly brought down by a few repeat questions. I sure as hell know if I wanted to know something about someones attire or something I'm not gonna dig through 1500 posts to find what Im looking for. PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 When you finally have a CAW, and you wrestle other guys with them or you try a career with them, it's hard as hell. Their stats are so low that if you face someone stronger than you (just about everyone in the game) you will have your hands full. I pray to God that there is another way to improve a CAW's stats other than by career. Yeah, the only way I see to improve a CAW's stats is by doing a career with each of them. This is what I feared months back when I first heard of the "Start as a jobber" thing As someone who mainly plays as CAWs it will be murder to play 30 something seasons just to get the CAWs to a respectable level. Here's hoping a code or something comes out fast... Just found a way around this, just take a caw thru season. build his stats up. Then COPY that CAW and edit over him and you get his higher stats with the New CAW.
