ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 It was cool for about a second...but what now? Kane wears a mask again? Actually, IMO, that'd be kinda a neat visual. Kane, wearing the mask, but with no hair. It's a movie tie-in without buying the rights to do it. What movie? I'll give you two hints: It's tops in the box office right now, and has Vs. in the title. LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 The ending ruled? Sure if he never comes back....oh wait then it would be a murder storyline and then we'd wonder why Shane wasn't arrested. Oh wait....why isn't he anyway? Self Defense? Maybe. But he'd still have to stand trial. Doubt that's going to happen. This isn't a movie. You can't just slap a "the end" on it and move on. Unless they plan on never having Kane and Shane on TV again. Is it so much for us to ask for some storylines that make sense?

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 Kane is the fire Monster from the foul burning depths of a flaming dumpster. I expect him to have the supernatural power to light things on fire just by looking at them with a funny stare.
Guest Basswitch Report post Posted August 26, 2003 My random idea for how WWE can use this ending. Everyone thinks kane is "dead". And a week goes by and he's not on the air. Then the next week shane has a match or something, and the lights turn red in the middle of his match, then he get attacked by two guys (gothic guys). Then over the next week, Shane, Vince, Linda, Stone Cold, and a whole bunch of other important people get attacked by various gothic looking people. Eventually somehow, one of them (the guys who have been doing random attacks) messes up, and is forced to tell who he's working for. He then says something like "You know who!" and then the lights go off and he dissapears. The next week on the titantron it shows all the gothic lookin guys who have been doing the random attacks are lined up in a dark room. They are all looking at the ground, when all of a sudden a voice is heard. It says something like "You have failed me". Then the camera turns and low and behold, It's Kane, and he is yelling at the guy who messed up. Kane then beats the shit out of him. Ect, ect, ect. basically Kane would get his own ministry. It may be a shitty idea, it might not be, but then again, i'm really tired, and really bored.

Guest Wildbomb 4:20 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 Once again, the WWE pulls a major cop-out on an angle that was going quite well. Kane as a psychological monster, rather than a physical one, was one, if not the, of the best-written angles all year. Now, with the "flaming dumpster of doom," they have painted themselves in a corner. Kane basically can't return to TV period without the mask and the long tights again. Shit. The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 honestly... I found it to be a great ending ...probably one of the funniest things i've seen on WWE TV in a long time. I don't care HOW they explain this...it won't make any sense... ...and none of us should really care... it's not the first time something like this has happened... See this is the big problem and what I'm sick of hearing. No offense to you Rando, but how bad is it when we're reasoning that since it's happened before that it's just fine that it's happening again? So because it's no worse than Katie Vick as someone in the OAO thread said, that makes it okay because it's not worse! So we're at the point now where we just accept it? We'd probably be better off just to stop watching than accept it.
{''({o..o})''} 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 I see them going the same route they went in WCW with hogan and The Giant. Just pretend it didn't happen. Either that or have puss packets in his new costume that just randomly explode during his matches...
Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted August 26, 2003 I tuned out during the Shane/Jericho "match." I tuned back in ocasionally to find Shane evolved in one of the most stretched out "fights" since HHH/Nash. It seemed to go on for an hour. How dumb does the WWE think we are? No security? Did all of those cops who had Kane chained up just say "fuck it"? And after all that hype, SHANE defeats Kane by KILLING HIM! Raw has gone to hell...
Gert T 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 The ending ruled? Sure if he never comes back....oh wait then it would be a murder storyline and then we'd wonder why Shane wasn't arrested. Because Kane won't press charges, but he's gonna sue Vince for putting him in a dangerous situation, only to wave it if Vince wrestles Shane on Raw. A truly innovative angle. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 What happened to the enterouge of police for Kane? I guess after the Kane/Bischoff match, since JR wouldn't press charges, Kane was off the hook.

I guess after the Kane/Bischoff match, since JR wouldn't press charges, Kane was off the hook. *blah* Reason number 939893794080098390 that the police, cops, or ANY law enforcement should never be involved in an angle in any shape or form. I know it was a pretty stupid thing for them to do...i mean... can't anyone just be PINNED anymore? ...but i'm sure every person that was watching now wants to tune in next Monday to see either: a) how they cover it up b) where they go with it c) if they do anything with it I am looking forward to Raw for once...to see if they screw up and if they do...how bad... I can never stop watching the WWE...ever... it's a part of my life and i have accepted everything they have done up till now... it's in my blood. it's just another logical gap that they have to explain...but probably won't... I can't wait till next Monday...
Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted August 26, 2003 I like the ending. I think they can have Kane come back, unburned, and claim that he is a monster, and he can't be burned. Or is that ludicrous?
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 In the Observer it says Kane is moving to Smackdown to be managed by Vince and to feud with Undertaker. If this is true, and that was the last we see of Kane on Raw, then RVD got royally screwed over. I mean RVD jobs to Kane on ppv cause "RVD brought everything he got, but it still wasn't enough" yet Shane McMahon, who just wrestled a fucking match, gets to end the Rage of Kane in a matter of 5 minutes? BUUUUUUUUULLSHIT. It makes the RVD/Kane match look rather trivial, like it was just something for RVD to do until Kane/Shane got a good idea together. Gowan; Kane def. Guererro; Kane def. Angle and the Big One: Kane def. Benoit!!!
dubq 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 The only way they can recover from this is to have Kane wearing the mask and FULL body suit again. Either that, or just the mask - saying just his face got burnt. It's kind of interesting, since in the whole Kane storyline, he was never really burnt that bad, and it was only his delusional mind [and probabyl Paul Bearer] that made him think he was hideous and disfigured. But NOW he's actually been burned badly and is the freak that he always thought he was.. I'd really like to see where they go with this.
