WWE news and notes

1. If you can't get enough of the McMahon's on TV, perk up, because there's more coming. I have it from several sources that WWE is in heavy negotions with Ed McMahon of Star Search and The Tonight Show fame to begin work with the company in the fall as well as former Chicago Bears quarterback Jim McMahon. WWE knows how well this name draws and both men would debut sometime in October, there has yet to be a decision on which brand each will be on...

2. This one is hot off the presses, sources are reporting that as of about 11:30 pm EST last night Eric Bischoff was offered a number of movie roles by some of the leading gay trucker porn movie directors in the country...

3. Some Backstage notes from SummerSlam, former WWE Super Astros star "Max Mini" was backstage to visit some old friends, but apparently got into an altercation with Triple H when Mini demanded Hunter give him his tights back, Hunter refused and wore them in the ring anyway...

4. Rob Van Dam was on yet another radio talk show this past week and had the following to say "I'd just like to say that first of all, I don't know who this guy is that's been going around calling in radio shows claiming to be me is, but when I find him I'll kick the s**t out of him, and you'll come out of it looking like you just came out of a match with Shane McMahon. Second, I'd like to wish Stephanie and Hunter all the best in the world with their upcoming marriage and I'd be honored if they let me serve drinks at the bar to the guests. Finally, seriously PLEASE DONT FIRE ME!!! PLEASE I DON'T WANNA WORK WITH ERIC WATTS"

5. The Undertaker's home town of Houston Texas is looking to honor one of their favorite sons by renaming the Fred Hartman Bridge after the long time WWE star, however many in the city are opposed to the renaming. However one city official in favor of the renaming was quoted as saying "Look, we're proud of what The Undertaker has accomplished in WWE and we felt this was the only way he'd ever help anyone get over." Budump bump...

See, now Ed McMahon would be a perfect fit for RAW, more specifically, Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel.

Jericho: Billy Gunn, Doink and Rey Mysterio..

Ed McMahon :..

Jericho: What is an ass, a clown and a junior. get it, Ass Clown Jr. haha!

Ed McMahon: Groans..

Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620

Well here is some "real" news for those who care...

The general feeling backstage at RAW Monday night after the show went off the air was that the management and the McMahon's thought the show was excellent and did what it had to do to draw viewer ship.

Speaking of the management team, they are definitely aware that a lot of the superstars backstage on the RAW roster are not happy about the way they are being used. Whether they are going to try and fix it or not is questionable, but the problem is known. Believe me when I tell you that behind the scenes every Monday night, there are a lot of ticked off people and some are starting to acknowledge it.

The Vince McMahon Birthday Bash was shown backstage to talent and anyone else who wanted to watch it at this weeks TV tapings. The segment was taped on camera's, but not shown to the people who ordered the SummerSlam PPV. A number of people were heard saying that the segment was so entertaining because it was improvisational and not overly scripted out.

Not that anyone cares, but RAW is shown backstage at the SmackDown! tapings every single Tuesday so that those SmackDown! guys who missed it can watch it.
