Guest Korrosive Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 Even though Bullet Bob Ryder doesn't write a newsletter, his prediction of Bret Hart coming into the WWF to lead the invasion angle has to be the worst reporting ever by an internet "journalist". What are some other instances where guys like Meltzer, Scherer, Keller..dropped the ball?
razazteca Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 Maybe its one of those situations where the "truth" came out but the McMahons stop the angle before it happened like the Lex Luger as WWF champ deal.
Guest Choken One Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 well...Luger was at fault for that and it wasn't one of those wrestling raggers that broke it

cawthon777 Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 It's not reporting, it's a prediction. Okay, so he's not Nostradomous - big deal.
Ripper Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 Prediction my ASS. He said that Bret Hart was coming back to the WWF on like 3 seperate occasions and was never right. Then, about a year later, bret said that he was suppose to have come in at Mania and Bob was back saying "SEE I TOLD YOU SO, THAT IS GREAT REPORTING" ignoring the fact that he was wrong the other 3 times that he reported it. Now that other guy, the one that writes really bad fantasy stuff, he predicted/Bret to come in but Bob was all "Bret Hart will reportedly be leading the Invasion".
bob_barron Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 And that very same night- Mick Foley said he had a special surprise. Fucking 1wrestling

I'm pretty sure Bret Hart did say in an interview afterwards that it was true, WWE contacted him about leading the invasion. Ryder reported what would happen, and then things changed, Bret decided not to come, and Ryder no longer reported it.
Guest RickyB Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 Umm, that happened like a year ago, keep with the times. And Bret said in an interview that he was thinking of going back to the WWE around that time but changed his mind in the last second... so what he was reporting was actually true at the time.
Jack_Bauer Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 I think the phrase we are looking for is, what happened has happened, so don't care people !
