Dennis Miller hosted the Sean Hannity radio talk show today. I thought he was refreshing and hilarious. His views run all over the place, but he is always interesting. He supports Pres. Bush and he agrees that we need to preemptively strike the radical Islamists before they hit us--it's called the civil right of "not getting blown up."

He got off many of his usual similes and obtuse pop culture references.

Some good lines from today (wish I could remember more):

"It's no longer the San Andreas fault, it's Gray Davis' fault."

"If Clinton was any more low-rent, he'd be a spring break destination."

"The only way the Clinton's marriage could be more obvious as a marriage of convenience is if a Slim Jim rack and Icee machine were installed at the foot of their bed."

"Unless the middle eastern, shoe-bomber-looking cat with the black clothes and Converse is the drummer from the J Geils Band, I want his ass off the plane, profiling be damned."

He went over many of his views, liberal included. I'm sure he had a few cracks on Republicans--in fact, Matt Drudge called him and brought up a remark he made about Limbaugh. Miller said sometimes he likes Rush, but often he is turned off by his histrionics. He said Judge Moore is taking the 10 Commandments thing too far. He defended Hollywood liberals, to a point. He said they are well-meaning and nice people for the most part.

1. Did you mean "obscure?" Dennis Miller is anything but obtuse.

2. The marriage of convenience line is also in his very good Clintons rant in his book "The Rant Zone." I recommend it.

3.
