The Kid 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2003 Alright guys...I'm trying to find a list of gimmick names I could use for when I start working for Stampede in a few months. Working as probably a manager so I need something good but can't find anything, any ideas?
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Do you have any idea of what your gimmick and/or face/heel designation is? I actually just got home from a Stampede spot show here in Claresholm, hope the town isn't dead to them after the attendence levels tonight... And also. You get to work with Belle Lovitz, that makes me envy you greatly. Bastard.
The Kid 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Haha, cool, I was there....weeird man! And it looks like probably a heel. I just need a name thats fairly typical and I can use it when I start wrestling too. I'm going to use part of my real name, but add a gimmicky thing. ie: The Rocket The Apostle The Mouth ...that sort of shit
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 How about "The Kid"? Dunno where I got that from...
The Kid 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 HAHA, yeah I might stick with that...but we already have The Stampede Kid, TJ Wilson.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 The surgeon would be cool if you were to be a cold, calculating type of character. Kid, I was the guy that would occasionally get up and wander around taking pictures and frantically trying to write stuff down in my notes there. Wait a minute, you weren't the guy that sold me the ticket outside were you? or the guy he was with hanging out in front before the show?
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Why not "The Acolyte"? It means one who attends or assists. Hm, Stampede Wrestling you say? Might have to find a way to a Calgary show to see ya in action, Kid.
WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Change your name to Lou Gehrig and be "The Disease."

Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 It was a badly timed show, Labour day and last weekend before school. Stampede had no chance.
The Kid 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Yeah, they really have to start marketing better. They should have plastered that town with posters advertising it.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 all it took last time was an in store at one of the video rental places, and a couple flyers to fill the house(about 100 people). I never saw the flyers until after the show but the instore was FULL of people getting pictures and autographs.
