I guess WWE was attempting to completely kill Eddie's career by making his theme even more stereotypical than the "Latino Heat" theme was, but it turns out that fortunately, Eddie overcame the stereotypical theme and accent and is now accepted by the fans, heel or face.

Well...originally I think it was because they wanted to have Eddy and Chavo have a theme for their team...since Eddy was still using Latino Heat while Chavo was using the WCW Guerrero theme. After Chavo's injury though, I don't know.

With 'It's a family tradition' on the back, it was a good shirt.

There is so much more you can do with "Cheat to Win" - it flows more smoothly and is a philosophy rather than a criminal record. It's a shame the WWE had to be so stupid and "turn Eddie heel" (wink) just when the crowd started to chant "Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!" That's the greatest chant ever.
Tony149 Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 The opening (the BUM-BUM sound) sounds alot like a Tito Puente song. I know this because I heard it on one of those music channel DirecTV offers. I don't think the entire song is the same but some of it was.
