A-Train Well thats..good WWE Title Match: Kurt Angle vs Undertaker went to a no-contest after interference from Brock Lesnar. Called it! Torrie Wilson d. Dawn Marie, Sable, and Nidia in a Bourbon St. Bikini Contest (everyone seemed to wear mardi gras beads, then tossed em to the crowd and had mask on too) Hmm...someone forgot when Mardi Gras is? WWE Cruiserweight: Rey Mysterio d. Tajiri (timed it, went around 7-10 minutes and this was the main event well unless you include Vince's segment) - Well, uh, yeah. Commerical break it is. I mean, Brock in storyline sense was NOT going to sit idly by, nor Vince for that matter. Anyone who thought different was either foolish, hopelessly optimistic, or chose to be ignorant of typical WWE booking . BUT, the match couldn't even get the final segment? I guess since Vince didn't appear at all last week he felt that he just HAD to take the main event slot. He's the real draw after all. And on a final note, Benoit 5, A-Train 0. Well, Zach is out of storylines BECAUSE of Brock Lesnar. It's entirely feasible for him to make another Inspirational Comeback only to get murdered by Brock again. Supposedly a parking lot street fight next week between Cena and Eddie. --- 2 Weeks from now..an iron man match? That would make sense if it were the 1 1/2 hour show. They could do that one match plus maybe 1 or 2 shorter matches. But next week is the 1 1/2 hour show. Im skeptical to say the least that they'd waste an iron man match between the 2 on free TV.. Unless it goes 0-0 and it sets up another one at the SD PPV. APA vs. Best Tag Team Yadda Yadda ig pop for the first match, but afterward, dead crowd. WINNER: Best Tag Team sneaks out with the win (deservedly) Vince and Brock Lesnar arrive while Eddy is waxing his car. Brock is mad, and asking why Vince hasn't called him. Vince says he has been busy, and then hypes Brock up, calling him an animal and slapping him in the face! lots of "ooooh"s John Cena comes out to the ring to a VERY nice pop (he is getting over more and more each week) does a nice rhyme about Britney Spears and Madonna at the VMA's, whilst dissing Eddy Guerrero the whole time. Eddy comes out to fight in street clothes, but Cena hits him with the US Title and steals his ride! OH NOOOOS! Chris Benoit vs. A-Train Match was OK...we all were mesmerized by the patterns forming in Albert's back hair. i saw a squirrel, i swear. Rhyno interferes, and accidentally spears A-Train. Benoit covers. same old story. WINNER: Benoit Funny/sexy bit with Torrie and Nidia backstage...Nidia is practicing her sensual dance routine a wee bit too fast, Torrie tells her to slowwwww it down...very funny stuff you'll see Thursday Then, Nidia rubs oil on Torrie...on her shoulders...back...and...oooh my...her backside! wooo! SPECIAL BOURBON STREET BIKINI CONTEST! Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP Incredible match! Angle and UT carry each other amazingly well. many, many reversals and kickouts of finishers. UT hits almost every one ofhis moves, but almost taps out to the ankle lock...then reverses again and finishes with the last ride...is about to pin, when Brock Lesnar runs interference, and smacks him and then Angle with a chair to get the DQ. crowd is pissed!! definitely a pro-Taker crowd. Lesnar decimates UT with the chair, that and the multiple ankle locks leaving him limping (and hamming it up, call the academy) for about 5 minutes. WINNER: Kurt Angle via DQ Tajiri vs. Rey Misterio for the CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE Massive cheers for Rey. subdued for Tajiri.mutual respect givin with a handshake between men. incredible match, as expected. very innovative reversals, and even a Tarantula attempt by Rey, but he was a weeee bit too short to pull it off. hehe. after a tough match, Rey gets the win with a top rope west coast pop. afterward, Tajiri goes to shake hands, but spits the green mist in Rey's eyes! possibly a great feud on the way! (thank god, the cruiserweights need a good heel) WINNER: Rey Misterio Vince McMahon comes out for a special announcement. Says that Kurt Angle will now defend the title in 2 weeks...vs. the new #1 contender...Brock Lesnar! in a special match...AN IRONMAN MATCH! YEAH! its about damn time!!! (the crowd didnt seem to know how cool that is ) Lesnar interrupts and appears right above me in the the baclony...saying Vince was right about how he is a monster (to lots of "you tapped out!" chants)...and brings out Zach Gowen in a wheelchair! one of his..well..one legs is in a cast, with his mouth gagged. Vince looks on and seems very worried about what may happen. Lesnar is not experienced enough, and Kurt....well, he couldn't remember how to sell in a 20 minute match, so going 30 or 60 is obviously a bad idea. Tajiri vs. Rey Misterio? I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully it will be as good as their SD match last year (the one nobody remembers). Benoit and A-Train always seem to have nice matches. "Well golly gee, I guess I'll buy a ticket to their every show so I don't have to put up with this shit." ...once again, maybe that's just me. It just pisses me off, because they do it totally on purpose. Well yeah they do it on purpose, it is a television show and virtually all of those have sponsors that pay to get their commercials on the air. I'm guessing that Soul Caliber wouldn't be happy if they were paying for John Cena to keep wrestling Eddie uninterrupted. Besides, Smackdown is taped so you miss all of nothing important...
