razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 The Titans better run the clock to 02 seconds on every play or else the Raiders will have enough time to score a FG.

LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 What kind of last resort play was that??????? No shit. 2 seconds left, so you throw a short pass to Charlie Garner? Uh, ok. Garner didn't see it coming at all too. He seemed confused about it after the play.

the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 Christ I was having a heart attack over the last 5 minutes. If Derrick Mason would have gotten one more yard I would have lost in my money league. And I was beyond pissed about that TD bullshit call.

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 Terrible Call! But I love it! David Patten should have gotten THAT call earlier today...Might have changed things a tad. ... No it wouldn't have. Your team had no heart. He's currently playing Stron Safety for the Buffalo Bills.

Your team had no heart. He's currently playing Stron Safety for the Buffalo Bills. This is mostly towards Cartman. I just don't want to search for the original post when the quote is right there. Oh, yeah, so would Branch actually being able to CATCH, Brady not being a moron and throwing blindly. Hell, the WHOLE OFFENSE getting on the ball would have helped "a tad." The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 If you want one positive in the game it's that we don't have to pretend that Antoine Smith belongs anywhere near the starting running back job anymore. Most of the yardage were on draw plays...but Kevin Faulk was the only player to consistently move the ball on O.

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 Well...there wasnt nearly as much drama as I thought there'd be on opening day... but watching the Bears go up in flames is awesome...and watching the Rams self destruct is almost as good. I obviously was hyped up for the Bills/Pats game...and couldn't have ever expected it to go as it did. I thought there was a good chance that it would be an ugly low scoring game since Belicheck always has Drew's number and I thought the Bills D had improved team speed enough to take away the Brady dump pass...but it all came together far better than I could have imagined. I just hope there's no let down as they should be able to beat the Jaguars next week. The Jets face the Fins...so someone starts the season 0-2...and the Pats have to play one of the best teams in the league (Eagles) so they could be in for a rough week again. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 It's weird having your team start the season on MNF. On one hand it is good, because it means your team is good. But by the time Monday rolls around, a bit of the opening weekend luster has worn off. Of course by 9:00 tomorrow night I doubt I will think the same way. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 I'm looking forward to that game. With the exception of the Giants (who i put a half step behind the Eagles) these are the two best teams in the NFC in a run away IMO.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 Yeah, I was just bored today by three crappy games and a game with a ton of officiating bullshit. I missed having my team on.
