XPW Exit Sandman DVD match listing?

Recommended Posts

I want to buy this, but am not quite sure of the entire match listing. XPWrestling.com lists Kaos/Doring, the death match, Grimes/Douglas, and Shark Boy/Chetti. I've learned that the extras on the DVD are Juvi/Jerry Lynn and the four-way tag team match from the Pittsburgh show. I also know Sandman's segment is on there. Does anyone know if there's anything else on it? MMW/Panthers isn't on it it, by chance, is it? What about Hamrick/Malice (not that I care)? Crazy/Psychosis? Also, does it have any other extras besides the two matches I mentioned above?

Thanks.

Here's the match listing:

1. Chris Chetti vs Shark Boy

2. Supreme vs Angel vs Altar Boy Luke - King of the Death Match Championship

3. Danny Doring vs. Kaos - World Television Championship

4. Sandman "Retirement" Ceremony, Pogo the Clown Confrontation

5. Shane Douglas vs Vic Grimes vs Chris Candido - World Heavyweight Championship

6. Juventud Guerrera vs Jerry Lynn - My Bloody Valentine: Los Angeles Day 1 (DVD Only)

7. Youthanazia vs Southern Comfort vs Danny Doring & Christian York - Battle of the Burgh (DVD Only)

So the answer is no, but if it'll make you feel better Hamrick Vs. Malice was awful, Crazy Vs. Psycho was a let down and MMW Vs. Dead Prez was good but nothing special.

Damn to think I could be watching Messiah Vs. Kaos right now instead of answering stupid questions. :bonk:

I thought that was in horrble taste, And it one of the worst things XPW has done IMO..

But I'll explain it anyway... Pogo's gimmick is based on Serial Killer John Wayne Gacy, Who worked as a clown named Pogo. So Pogo is supposed to be a killer...

I own a Pogo the Clown t-shirt. I absolutely love the gimmick. Pogo used to come down to the ring with a lollipop in his mouth and touch the faces of the kids in the front row.

And yes, I was at Exit Sandman. Worst XPW event in Philly by far. Hamrick/Malice was God awful, as they went out there and blew spot after spot. Coincidentally, Malice never showed up again (I believe), and Hamrick got the hell out of the face jobber role real quick.

I was fucking PISSED when they sold the $10 version of the event, saying that it was the full event because they didn't plan to sell it on DVD. It's a fucking clipped show, first off, with a shitty box, shitty label, and then a DVD with more features that I could pick up for $13-$15 somewhere comes out.

I think the puppy incident was far worse, since that got the FEDS invovled.

Well, The Puppy thing was just a publicity stunt (at least I hope it was)

The whole Pogo thing was pretty disturping, it showed him following around a kid, giving him a toy and then digging a hole.. I just don't think that kinda thing has any place in wrestling (same with GQ Money angle that involved him raping women in Mid-2002... in total horrible taste)

What was the GQ Money angle? The Enterprise were one of the few things I liked about XPW, but given that I only have events and the "Best Of" DVD's, I never heard of this, or saw it on what I've watched so far.

Well... if you have the Best of The Enterprise DVD, they cover a little bit of XPW's "transformation" Basicially, It's a rip off of the movie a "Clockwork Orange" with GQ as the Alex Character.

One skit had GQ Money laying on a road pretending to be hurt, a women stops her car to help, Of course GQ Money was playing possum and he attacks and "rapes" her. Also he tried to "rape" Lizzy Borden in Rob Black's house but was stopped by Scott Snot.

I know they based this on the movie... but it didn't come off well and was very offensive as well.

I've got the Best of the Enterprise DVD, though for whatever reason haven't watched it yet. I do know that GQ's "evolution" was based on Clockwork Orange, so what you're saying does make sense to me.

I don't know if it just shows how out of whack my line of thinking is, but I'm more offended of them bastardizing Clockwork Orange than I am using Gacy/Pogo as a gimmick.
