NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 I wonder how well Sharpton could actually do if the media didn't treat him like a dirtbag. I know he has done some shady things in the past, but none more than anyone else. He does have command over an audience. So did Hitler, what's your point? The fuck is that supposed to mean? I hope it isn't a comparison.

You could say that about a lot of people, it doesnt make them qualified to run the country...
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 Arrrgh, why did Dean bring up Affirmative Action himself. Should have waited until the Fox guys baited him into it.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 It came off well for that crowd, and it gave probably the ONLY possible good argument for affirmative action itself.

Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 I would vote for Bush sooner than Lieberman, but I feel sad for how all the shouters wait for him to do their thang. At least he shouted over them now.

I was just trying to throw a quick thought out there. I don't want to write a novel while I am actually trying to watch the debate.

As I mentioned, Larouche is very antisemetic and anti-Israel which is likely why they continue to target poor Joe.

Guest MikeSC Report post Posted September 10, 2003 Al Sharpton is probably the best speaker out of these guys. Sharpton can talk quite well. He's still an idiot and if he wanted to cause the front-runners a lot of problems as they can't really afford to attack him or the more idiotic Mosely-Braun. -=Mike Oh, I agree, he's extremely good with this sort of stuff. Sharpton shot a barb at Dean for having a white-bread candidacy (which, to a certain extent, was true), but he was actually hit by huge backlash after that remark. Mosely-Braun is actually a very nice woman that comes off very articulate (I actually had the chance to meet her after the NOW debate in Washington, DC). I don't think she'd make a wonderful president considering her feminist standings, but she's a pretty good speaker as well. Well, Dean does have a problem with race (VT is a darned white state), but it's no biggie. Mosely-Braun is WAY too chummy with African dictators --- many of whom still have slavery legal in their countries --- for my tastes. -=Mike
Vyce 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 Technically, LaRouche is more of a conservative than a liberal. You know nothing about LaRouche. Oh, and a personal memo to Mr. Howard Dean: you KNOW you've never heard a Wycleaf Jean song in your life, sir. Who are you fucking kidding?
