Steviekick Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 The NWO thing would be a cool but quick and easy way to set up a feud between Hogan and Chono
Guest Black Tiger Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 I don't think NJPW can use the nWo name since WWE has the rights to it. NJPW hasn't used nWo Japan since early 2000 during the early stages of a Team 2000 vs nWo Japan feud that ended with everyone not named Mutoh joining Chono in Team 2000
Guest PlatypusFool Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Well it's confirmed folks - Hullk Hogan vs. Masahiro Chono will take place at the Tokyo Dome in October. I cannot believe it's actually happened, these thing always tend to fall through, but not this one - amazing. He's also signed a contract for two other shows, likely to be the Yokahoma Arena show coming up and the next Dome show in January.
Ace309 Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Any idle speculation from people who actually know what they're talking about as to who Hogan might be taking on in the other two shows? That disqualifies me.
Guest Black Tiger Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 I'd speculate one would be a tag match with Hogan/Chono teamin up, and the other one would probably be Hogan vs Takayama.
