Guest RollingSambos Report post Posted September 11, 2003 Ticketmaster is advertising an Internet presale of WrestleMania XX tickets on 9/26. Anybody know how to get the passcode for this? Has it even been advertised?
Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2003 You need to be on the MSG.com newsletter mailing list.

Guest Palumbo the Janitor Report post Posted September 11, 2003 I lost the key to my supply closet. Looks like it's another "bare hands" day.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2003 Don't worry. Last year every site from 411 to the actual ticketmaster page itself listed it. As for me, I gave up on going. Too fucking expensive, likely to be a let-down, and I don't like the surroundings. I would prefer never to go to NYC for anything in my life if I could bear it. Guest nikowwf Report post Posted September 11, 2003 Exactly what paradise do you live in that you'd never want to go into NYC for anything Jobber-man? (curious, not trying to be rude!) niko
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2003 Look at it this way... Of course the show is going to be ridiculously overpriced, but if you can afford it, spectacular... have a great time. If you can't, I promise that you'll be able to make a killing on Ebay.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 12, 2003 probably wait 30 minutes before show time to order it... so I can record the Heat match before which usually is better than the first half of the event.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Exactly what paradise do you live in that you'd never want to go into NYC for anything Jobber-man? (curious, not trying to be rude!) niko It's a combination of being all west-side and looking down a long plane flight, and a dislike of big crowded cities like NYC where the buildings are usually made before roads existed. San Fran has this problem too, I'll admit. Seeing four lanes of traffic trying to squeeze into 15 feet isn't fun, and also trying to visit on a budget can be hazardous to your health, shall we say. There's more than enough ghettos to accidentally wind up in.
Guest RollingSambos Report post Posted September 13, 2003 I agree with Jobber, NYC is a highly overrated hellhole. You want to see a really great city? Try visiting Seattle or Tampa or Raleigh.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. New York is one of the best cities in the world. Of course I'm biased
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 You want to see a really great city? Try visiting Seattle This must be repeated. I only went there for WrestleMania, but I was blown away by what I saw. It's like S.F., but with wider streets and less homeless people. Granted, I never got to see outside of downtown, so I don't know what the average Seattlite's house would look like, but oh well.

Guest nikowwf Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Im spoiled by big cities I guess. I live in New York, and go to Tokyo twice a year to visit my wifes family. I go to a smaller city, and I'm having withdrawal pains. (WHAT - ONLY 200 SUSHI RESTAURANTS? MY GOD - ITS LIKE THE MIDDLE AGES!!!) niko
Guest RollingSambos Report post Posted September 16, 2003 So has the f'n passcode been released yet? Only 10 days to go...

MY GOD - ITS LIKE THE MIDDLE AGES!!!) niko You want good sushi restaurants, then you need to go to Las Vegas. Since all the super high rollers are of Asian descent, there's some world-class stuff in that category. Mikado at The Mirage and Shintaro at Bellagio (that one is expensive as all hell though) are excellent, Hamayuki or whatever it's called at Caesars Palace isn't bad (it can get crowded when the Celine Dion show ends and a horde of people crowd in though), Ah Sin at Paris is about the same but without the Celine crowd. The best bang for your buck though is probably Little Budha at the Palms.

Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2003 If the presale is not until the 26th, there's no reason either company will release it now. The newsletters will release it on the 24th or 25th.
