Papacita 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2003 I know we've had top 5/10/15/48 favorite wrestler lists dozens of times, but I can't recall us ever doing a least favorite wrestler list. Well here we go...ready? Huh? Ready? HERE WE GO!!!!! My top 5 least favorite wrestlers: 1. BILLY FUCKIN' GUNN: I cannot describe how deeply my hatred runs for this man. Since I was about 10 or 11 years old, Billy has been doing things that just make me despise him! It all started with the Smokin' Gunns...I couldn't stand them. I hated their wrestling...I hated their hats...I hated their blatant disregard for ringside fans by firing guns inside the arena. I just HATED them! And I hated how the night after Rumble 95, after I had bragged and bragged to my friends about predicting that the Kid and Bob Holly would win the tag title tournament, the Gunns came right out and beat them for the belts! As if I didn't hate Billy Gunn enough after that night...he somehow managed to make me hate him even more when he and Bart beat Yokozuna and Owen Hart to regain the belts the night after IYH 3...not because of the blatant cheating displayed by the no good bastards during the match, but because the belts RIGHTFULLY belonged to my favorite tag team, Shawn Michaels and Diesel...who, incidentally were promised a tag title rematch in the future...and that match never happened...grrr! Then there was the Rockabilly gimmick...ugh...I don't think I need to explain my dislike for that, but I was ALMOST beginning to like him in the New Age Outlaws, but then he went and joined DX the night Shawn Michaels got kicked out, so I had to hate him by default. I hate his cheesy ass promos! I hate his wrestling! I hate how the WWF repeatedly tries to push this man, despite him failing EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! I hate the fact that Chyna likes him...I wanted to break my damn TV when they were an on-screen couple! In closing...I HATE HIM, I HATE HIM, I HATE HIM...GOOD GOD I HATE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *deep, rapid breaths* 2. Hulk Hogan: I was never a big Hogan fan, but I turned on him in 93 after I found out that he had refused to work with Bret Hart. And I will contend to my dying day that Hulk Hogan ruined WCW. I began watching on a regular basis in 93 and was really into it...I loved Flair, loved the Blondes, Regal, Steamboat, Vader, Sting...hell...I even liked the damn Guardian Angel...then in comes Hogan, suddenly he's the World Champ, Duggan's beating Austin for the U.S. belt, and suddenly all my favorites are pushed into the background to make way for his buddies. 3. HHH: Outside of a brief period in 2000 (towards the end of the love triangle angle), I've never liked HHH, for various reasons. Aside from the most OBVIOUS reason, I hated him for kicking Shawn out of DX and in the latter stage of my markish period, getting Shawn thrown through that windsheild by the Corporation. Then came the push from hell, which resulted in that mind blowing feud with Vince McMahon in the latter part of 99.... I didn't like how he was put over Benoit (who was pretty much billed as the WCW Champion upon his arrival) and Tazz (while he was ECW Champ...and in Philly no less), basically making him seem like the best wrestler in the World...and the booking and writing since 2000 has more or less made him look unbeatable (like him losing the title to Rock without being pinned). And I don't even have to go through the current situation with him on Raw...bottom line, I hate the man. 4. Lex Luger: I've always seemed to dislike him for one reason or another. Just a bad wrestler who always seemed to be pushed as something special. 5. Vince McMahon: I know he's not a wrestler (though he might as well be with the kind of TV time he gets), but honest to God, I dislike Vince in so many ways it's not funny. Yes, Austin Vs McMahon was a groundbreaking angle! Yes, it helped the WWF's popularity skyrocket in 98-99...but Vince McMahon's involvement in storylines should've ended at Fully Loaded 99...possibly even Wrestlemania XV. Vince constantly puts himself over his wrestlers, takes up valuable TV time, ruins matches, can't wrestle, and cannot seem to grasp that fans don't pay to see him or ANYONE in his family. And they don't even try to explain his evil owner shtick anymore...we at least knew why he hated Austin, but nowadays he seems to hate everyone that's face and support all heels...there's no shades of gray...nothing remotely dynamic or entertaining about his on-screen character anymore, yet he shows up on my TV WEEK AFTER WEEK...WHY???!?! Guest BAR Report post Posted September 12, 2003 1. BILLY GUNN - What can be said. He is SCUM! 2. SANDMAN - He's abysmal. His entrance amused me for a short period of time, though. 3. GEDO - He simply pisses me off. See Super J Cup '95. 4. LEX LUGER - His early stuff was cool but then it all turned pair shaped. 5. SHAWN MICHAELS - He could be higher but he's not a bad wrestler. Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted September 12, 2003 In no particular order of suck: A-Train: One of the very few WWE wrestlers that I have never ONCE enjoyed a match that he was involved in (Royal Rumbles obviously not counted). The one match that is supposed to be good (Vs Kane for the IC belt) bored me to tears. The guy is big, agile and relatively charismatic but manages to be the most boring man on Earth everytime he enters a wrestling ring. Mark Henry: Another of the tiny number of WWE guys that I have never once enjoyed. He has like 3 moves, a horrible in-ring charisma and even his "comedy" skits are boring. A huge waste of space. New Jack: I don't even know if he counts, because he's barely a wrestler at all. Awesome charisma but NO use of anything resembling psychology or wrestling holds. A disgrace to wrestling in general as far as I'm concerned. Billy Gunn: Though I've enjoyed some of his matches (mostly tags) and I've got to admire the guy for putting up with horrible gimmick after horrible gimmick, he does absolutely NOTHING for me in the ring. Every match seems exactly the same, no matter who he's in there with and he doesn't even seem to care most of the time. Nathan Jones: BAD BAD BAD Wrestler in general. Loved his promos before his debut, but he's an awful wrestler and its bad for the business whenever he's in the ring. DQ'd for various reasons: Lex Luger (essentially retired), Big show (I've actually been enjoying some of his stuff in the past year), Scott Stiener (just because he WAS so good at one point) and Buff Bagwell (because it was only a top 5 list). Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 1. Kevin Nash. Everything that is wrong with pro wrestling. Unover, unmotivated, untalented, and yet is still hanging around in the main event. Hogan, Piper, HHH, Goldberg, and every other terrible wrestler can at least claim that they have drawn money. Nash has tanked every time he is pushed to the top, and yet still keeps his job. Terrible. 2. Vince Russo. An arrogant racist asshole who destroyed WCW, and has ridden Vince McMahon's coattails to job after job. Anytime somebody has been fired as often as this guy has, you should be asking questions before you hire him. 3. Bill Goldberg. He's like Nash, but he at least had some success. 4. X-Pac. An unprofessional little shit who would be pumping gas for a living if it wasn't for his friends. 5. Scott Hall. The Darryl Strawberry of wrestling. He would be higher on the list, but I get some satisfaction in that he finally seems to be getting what he deserves.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 The bottom 5: 1. Chuck Palumbo - No this big waste of space has been the WCW version of Billy Gunn. Chuck has been the tag team champ with more than one partner who has to carry the match for him. Chuck was the weakest member of the Natural Born Thrillers, it took Jindrak and O'Haire to match watchable. Then during the Invasion Chuck & NBT partner were thrown into a mini feud with the APA. If it was not for Bradshaw's LARIATOOOOO From Hell the matches were crap. Chuck Palumbo has the worst Superkick I have ever seen. Hell I have witness everybody from the likes of Justin Credible, Lance Storm, Marty Jennety, Hogan, Nash, Big Show do better kicks than this bum. 2. Mark Henry - Now, I ask what has this big fat bastard done in the WWF? Bad acting about incest, strong man act, black militia activist.......well nothing to really remember. I never heard anybody say do you remember back in the day when Mark Henry had that MOTY with D-Lo or the day when Henry joined Teddy Long's stable and made it an unstoppable monster group? 3. Billy Gunn - Now I kind of liked the Smoking Guns in the very begining when Jim Cornett was with them. But the day the New Age Outlaws put the Legion of Doom~ in a dumpster, I started to hate him with a passion. The solo attempts at being a star all failed, from the Honky Tonk Man V2 days to The One to Mr Ass all went nowhere. Not even the King of the Ring mega push worked. 4. Coach - I used to watch Heat alot and had suffered thru the days of Jackie and Lita as his co-host. Again D-Lo Brown had to KEEP IT REAL and carry a bum to something watchable. The day D-Lo left Heat all of the stupid jokes and catch phrases meant nothing......but that did not stop Coach from trying the same material with the women co-host. As for the heel turn well it did improve the character but anybody could look good mocking good ol JR. Jonathan Coachman is not a good announcer and he is not a good actor in teh Sports Entertainment world. Coach is not I repeat not STUART SCOTT......well maybe he is because the weakass use of hip-hop catchphrases are killing me and my ears. 5. Pierroth - This luchadore somehow has made CMLL unwatchable. This luchadore somehow thinks that his puertican army is a reason to watch CMLL. This army has taken the show under hostage and will not leave. If it is not the endless matches vs the mexican cowboys in black (sometimes orange) its against a member in this army who turns. Not only will Pierroth win masks but he will also win hair matches! You want to know why luchadores never really taken off in WWF? Well in the 90s when a deal was worked out it was F'N Pierroth with his slow ass who took a preceived fast paced wrestling style and turned it into a slow brawl, he F'N won with a powerbomb on WWF tv. This killed any and all interest that the marks would of had at the time when Rey Mysterio was flying around and turning heads in WCW.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 1. Mark 'Pindick' Henry I could write thousands of words outlining the multitude of factors that prove he is a useless, over-payed, over-used (yes, one match per RAW is too much), over-rated piece of fucking crap. I legitimately change channels whenever he walks onto my TV screen in a hope he either disappears into fat air or breaks something. This weeks RAW had me excited as I turned back to see him take a nasty looking fall, only to get right back up and deliver his HOSS PACKAGE OF LIMITED OFFENCE MOVES OF DOOM~!. Fuck Henry. 2. Bradshaw Oh sure, he's a nice guy backstage. Pity the worthless twat couldn't string two moves together to save his life. 3. Billy Gunn See every other post detailing what is wrong with him. I agree totally. 4. Rodney Mack I just cannot get into him. Theodore Long is pure brilliance, however Rodney is nothing and will never amount to any special in this business. 5. Steve McMichael I know he doesn't wrestle anymore, but FUCK, words cannot describe the frustration I felt watching him throw competent wrestlers on their heads etc., because he could only spare three bucks for his wrestling training. Bret Hart said in an interview here in Australia that McMichael is the worst wrestler he has ever been in the ring with, just reckless, totally uninteresting and just plain worthless. I'm done acting like a nerd now. Fare thee well. UYI

I actually like him, so Im wondering why he would be on your list of least 5 favorite wrestlers. Mine.... 1. Undertaker 2. Goldberg 3. A-Train 4. Bradshaw 5. Justin Credible Because he's a cancer on Shelton Benjamin's ineviteble single's career. If I were to do a favorite list...Benjamin would be at or near the top of it...so the Haas pick is purely out of fear of them pushing the wrong guy in the end. Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2003 1. G_O_L_D_B_E_R_G!!!!!!! One of the worst things ever to happen to the wrestling industry (or any industry, for that matter). A boring, talentless, uninventive, heat-sucking hack. 2. X-Pac He was once very talented, but stuck around about 10 years longer than he should have. He represents everything wrong with the wrestling business. A true cancer. 3. Triple H Need I say more? 4. Undertaker 100% pure dead weight. (Almost) single-handedly raped, murdered, and buried the career of Diamond Dallas Page. There is simply no reason to keep him employed. 5. A-Train The ultimate hoss (not a compliment). He is slow, ugly, sloppy, and has absolutely no charisma. The WWE has, right now, the greatest assemblage of talent in wrestling history, and they push HIM? Honorable mention goes to Kevin Nash, Bradshaw, Billy Gunn, and Buff Bagwell.

King Kamala 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2003 5. New Jack Besides one or two fun brawls the man has done absolutely nothing worthwhile. 4. X-Pac/Sean Waltmen Sean Waltman was great as 1-2-3 Kid and even showed signs of his old self as Syxx in WCW. However X-Pac truly did suck, his match with Shane McMahon at WM XV is vastly overrated (I give **1/4) and the only good matches he's had in the past 5 years he was carried. 3. Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner from about 89-94 was one of the greatest tag team wrestlers in the world. But one he roided up the shit hit the fan. I can only really name one really good Big Poppa Pump match off the top of my head (Against Goldberg at Fall Brawl 2000). 2. Mabel/Viscera Sure Mabel was just a bad wrestler that got oogled over by the higher powers but I can't think of one worthwhile Mabel/Viscera match or segment. Speaking of Viscera what happened to him? He was in TNA for like a month for no reason and disappeared. 1. HHH Not because of the man's matches despite them being pretty much the same and overbooked for almost the past two years. I hate HHH cause what he's doing is hurting the WWE badly and he is a big part of the WWE's rating decline.
