Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted September 12, 2003 I didn't see it last night, as I thought it looked bad to begin with. How was it?
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2003 According to TV Guide(Which isn't much of a source) it's surreally bad.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2003 I let my tape run, partly because Smallville gets replayed after Smackdown here in RI (we have one station that carries both UPN and WB shows), and partly because I wanted one of the biggest TV catastrophes ever on record. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 12, 2003 anything associated with mullets is automatically bad and stupid. However, I don't know if that's a bad thing in regards to this show. Best part of Thursday's episode...A goldberg standee wearing a pink glittery Rey mask.
Guest Urine Sane Report post Posted September 12, 2003 I couldn't hear it because I was at work, but I thought it looked hilarious from the physical comedy.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 It was horrible and their portrayal of wrestling was embarrassing.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 13, 2003 their portrayal of wrestling was embarrassing. and sadly, they weren't totally inaccurate
Styles 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 it was at the end of my Smackdown tape. Unless it's supposed to be a clever parody of a dumb sitcom (including fake laugh tracks), it was seriously one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 13, 2003 One of the worst things I've ever seen. The car wreck factor kept me watching for the rest of the show, but I'll never watch again.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 what's The Mullets?
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 From UPN's Website: http://www.upn.com/shows/mullets/about.shtml As co-owners of a contracting and roofing company, the Mullet brothers are blue-collar, wrestling-loving, light-hearted optimistic guys who don the hairstyle that bears their surname ("business in the front, party in the back"), in the new UPN comedy THE MULLETS. The twenty-something brothers, who sport identical mullet haircuts, are actually a study in contrast. Dwayne Mullet has an awesome set of muscles and a loud, wild, "in-your-face" demeanor, while Denny Mullet is a skinny, quieter, more thoughtful, easy-going guy. Dwayne figures with Denny's brain and Dwayne's body they've got the world in front of them, and they intend to live out their version of the American dream. Their mother, Mandi Mullet-Heidecker, a warm maternal type who also happens to be extremely sexy, couldn't be more proud of her offspring no matter what they do. Though she is sharper than her boys, she is obviously one of the family - in both attitude and wardrobe. She recently moved out of the house when she married her new husband, Roger Heidecker, the pompous host of the game show "Brainstorm," who, though he could not be more unrelated, is now stepfather to the Mullet brothers. When not working or lounging around their house, the brothers' regular hangout is the convenience store where they both vie for the attention of the clerk, a sweet and sunny girl-next-door type. The siblings live life to the fullest while dreaming of bigger and better futures, though their fantasies are out of step with their reality. So if you're watching UPN at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays be afraid. Be very afraid...

kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 To the show's credit, I thought Loni looked good and that Seinfeld guy made me laugh one or two times. But you were right -- it was like watching a train wreck with commercials...
Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Wait, let me get this straight. Their last name is Mullet? I don't know what's scarier, that shows like this are made or that networks can promote them with a straight face.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 13, 2003 It's UPN...of course they didn't promote it with a "straight face". The show was alot better when it starred Stacy Keach, Christopher Titus and the bully from A Christmas Story. Oh and when it was called Titus.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 FOX was stupid for cancelling Titus, Titus had a lot better ratings than Grounded For Life( Which they kept for another season) at the time it was cancelled.
Guest Breetai Report post Posted September 13, 2003 I have the irresistable urge to SLAP anyone who feels the need to put quotation marks around "in-your-face" in a description like that. This show was designed by committee. Nothing that bad in concept could possibly be created by one man alone.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Titus was cancelled because the executives wanted the show to go one way, but Christopher Titus himself (the head writer and OWNER of the show's copyright, and story, etc.) wanted to go HIS way (and, from what I've heard/read, HIS way was what we saw, and thus was the better way, as Fox's way would probably include Temptation Island). So they just split, and Titus himself said he wouldn't do the show again (due to bad experience with network execs). Man, I SO wish they made a Titus movie. Or if Titus just signed a deal with, say, HBO or Showtime or whatever and made the show for them (it could be longer, maybe a full 30 instead of the 20-25, and would be allowed to do more). King Kamala 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Is it safe to say The Mullets is the worst new sitcom since Thanks?
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Titus was one of the funniest shows I've ever watched..... But anyways...I thought it was laughably bad that they promoted RAW as Wrestlemania...come on.....
Tawren 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Titus was one of the funniest shows I've ever watched..... Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Thankfully since this is UPN we can expect it to be replaced in 2 weeks by a shitty "urban" comedy with wacky black people.
jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 UPN needs to go back to the good old days when they had quality shows like Shasta McNasty.
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Report post Posted September 15, 2003 And Gary and Mike. Damn, dunno if it was horrible or great, but that was one show I never forgot was on. So they're using a white trash sitcom to try and make wrestling look cool again? Bleh.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted September 18, 2003 what a horrible friggin show that was. I was actually embarrassed to say that I watched it.
