tpww7 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 I just got back from this and um...it had to be one of the dumbest movies ever but it was hilarious too. That little kid owned.
Cran Da Maniac 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Haven't seen it yet, going to see it tomorrow. Interesting note, some of that movie was filmed in my hometown about a year or 2 ago.
LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 I kinda want to see it, but I am amused every time I see the commercial just because it's a horror movie with Rider Strong. All the rated R for (drugs, sex) I just think "No, not Shawn!" a la Boy Meets World and laugh... then again, I am a dork. It just always amuses me when people from children's shows jump into a movie like this...

Banter 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Lord knows I'm easily siockened. I did hear that there are some graphic "skin removal" scenes.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 13, 2003 graphic "skin removal" scenes. graphic is the best approach when dealing with skin removal scenes.

Cheex Incarnate 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Just stay away from this movie all together. Complete tripe. Maybe it was because I saw American Splendor right before it, but man, Cabin Fever blew hard. Didn't make one lick of sense, and nothing was resolved.....God What a bad movie. DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 people who start getting a flesh eating virus. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): karen (jordan ladd)-gets the virus and begins to lose flesh in her legs, then the bottom half of her face is eaten away. to put her out of her misery, rider strong beats her to death with a shovel. marcy (cerina vincent)-gets the virus, her back peels away, she shaves her leg (not knowing she has the virus) and peels all the flesh off her leg, is later eaten and dismembered by a hingry dog. jeff (joey kern)-at the end of the movie, exclaims "i *beep* made it. i *beep* made it" because he is the only one left, only to be cut off by a bunch police officers who shoot him down, thinking he has the virus. bert (james debello)-gets the virus and begins peeling at the neck, is bitten on the hand by a small boy, which rips all skin from his hand, has his head blown off my a hillbilly. paul (rider strong)-gets the virus and is thrown into the river by a cop who's trying to keep the virus under wraps, we assume he drowns, or just eventually dies from the virus. i got those off of the imdb boards. fazzle 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 The best part was in the credits Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Man in bunny suit - We Will Never Tell
Cran Da Maniac 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 That movie was just....Weird. It was good for a good bit of the movie, but then it was like they just took a whole bunch of acid and totally fucked it up. But the Pancake Boy was funny as hell. The very first scene in the movie (where they're in the truck leaving town and they pass by the yellow courthouse) and the hospital scene was filmed in my home town. Seemed kinda weird seeing places I know of on the big screen.
dubq 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2003 My favorite part had to be... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): When the black kids were coming up into the redneck's store in the end and the owner starts to pull out this rifle. Earlier in the movie, the old redneck told the other kids that the rifle was for "the n*ggers"... and finally in the end, instead of shooting at them he hands them the rifle as if he were fixing it for them and says "what up my niggaz" with the handshake and the whole bit. I wasn't expecting that. Cheesy, but fucking funny at the same time.
gWIL 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2003 Dude, Cabin Fever was awesome, I loved the ending. It was one of the gorest movies I've seen in a long time. Great humor too.
Guest Italian Stallion Report post Posted September 16, 2003 I liked it. I guess the viewing before ours, a girl got sick during the leg shaving part and walked out of the theater sick and passed out. The ambulance was called. Gory as fuck and the end was disturbing. justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2003 I walked in expecting a horror movie, but it turns out that this was, quite possibly, the most hilarious movie I've ever seen. The gaps in logic were astounding. "What if they can't cure my boy? KILL HIM!"
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted September 17, 2003 I thought it was awesome. As the horror movie aficianato that I am I must say it was a cool movie that didn't dissappoint in the gore department as well.
dubq 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Any horror/gore movie fan who complains about this movie being stupid or whatnot, is definitely not a horror/gore movie fan. Those types of movies were born in the B-Movie genre and anyone who is a true fan can appreciate it. Why do you think that Lucio Fulci has such a huge following? The acting in his flicks is horrible, and the stories are just ridiculous, but the horror/gore are second to none. Cabin Fever gets two chopped off thumbs up from me! LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2003 Dude, Cabin Fever was awesome, I loved the ending. It was one of the gorest movies I've seen in a long time. Great humor too. Finally saw this last night and I LOVED the ending. It was just so random. My friend and I were in tears laughing about how great that ending was and everyone else seemed pissed. It was a classic ending cause it came from out of the blue. I earned a couple heroes too: The monogloid with a mullet screaming PANCAKE! The deputy looking for partying and getting some riding a little bike The main character who wants to shoot squirrels "cause they're gay" and especially: "YEAH! He's a professor.... of BEING A DOG! FACE!"
