They REALLY need to bring Jenny back.

I tells ya, the thoughts I had about that woman in she was in Prince's "Get Off" and "Diamond and Peals" video....the thoughts I had.

Yeah, that episode just shows how true of a champion Angel really is.

He could of had Buffy, but he knew it wouldn't work. He has all of the memories of that and Connor, and no one else does.

He is a true champion.

Jenny > Lilah. Hell, Jenny > Willow.

Bah, wish I had a teacher like that.

That was a pretty good episode, and it tied everything together better than next weeks episode. I liked how they showed Sunnydale's deal with the ubervamps; but Buffy didn't say she loved him.

I liked how Spike says he is a hero and he shouldn't go to hell. That doesn't make sense to me though. Even though he did all of horrible stuff back in the day, he did save the world. If it wasn't for him, the ubervamps and the First would of won.

He deserves to go to heaven!

Angel does a Sliced Bread #2~!

I only caught some of the episode as I was taping it, so I'll watch it and have full thoughts later. Looked good, though.

I knew that looked familiar!

Good ep, but something bothered me a bit. I dunno what. Spike was gold, of course, but I wonder how it will all work out in the end.

Guess that means that Joss did his job, then.

I'm not going to try and summarize because I'm not good at that stuff, but this week I actually caught the Masked Luchadore Mailroom Guy as opposed to last time. Whoo.

Oh, and I marked for Angel's modified Sliced Bread #2.

It's weird getting two introductory eps. in a row... 3 if you count the Season Finale. The Spike gimmick is pretty nifty as it allows the Buffyfiles who never watched the show before to come in and relate to a character and share the "fish-out-of-water" experience.

I dug the Villain. A lil goofy in places.

Notice that Spike has a thing for boney chicks (Buffy, Dru, Fred), while Angel has a thing for blondes (Buffy, Darla, Kate.. Cordy had blonde highlights before she left.)

Spike talked too much. He can't keep up the accent through long dialogue - it gets watered down.

Not enough focus on the other characters. I know that they will get their time, but they are on screen for maybe 3 minutes each.. c'mon.

Season 1 Lilah is not doin it for me. We need 10 CC's of Foxyness STAT.

LUUUUCHA MASK!

Did anyone else mark out for JM's name in the opening credits?

Interesting how you noticed what Spike and Angel like in their women. But if Spike followed that pattern he should have gone after Willow.

I was kinda disappointed by this ep. Spike was pretty funny, but it's almost as if we got a bit of a Spike overdose here. I don't think I like the idea of Spike as the wacky ghost sidekick. But that'll probably change in a few eps, I'm sure.

I think I like Gunn's role as lawyer guy now...he can pull it off fairly well.

Fred's legs again had a prominent place. I am pleased by this.

I liked the episode a lot better than the premiere. The villian was a bit lame, but everything else was good. The most shocking development so far this season....my favorite character is Harmony. I figured I was going to hate her.

I thought Harmony would be kind of lame too, but she's been great. Her reaction to Spike/Buffy was cute. Gotta feel for everyone's favorite ditzy vamp.

Speaking of her, I recently saw the slo-mo fight between her and Xander. GOLD, I say.

I enjoyed the episode.

Only nineteen days have passed since the events in Sunnydale. And Joss said Angel Season Four took place over the span of just two weeks (despite it seeming longer over in the Buffyverse). So, from October 2002 to October 2003 real-time, it has only been a bit over a month in the Whedonverse. Weird.

Except, one problem with that.

In the first episode, it was said that it was taking place one week after the Season 4 finale. The last TWO episodes of Buffy took place after the finale. So where did the 19 days figure come from?

At the beginning of tonight's episode, it said it was nineteen days ago in Sunnydale when they showed the bit with Spike destroying the Hellmouth. But I forgot how the Buffy finale was after the Angel one, so who knows what the whole deal is.

I second that. She isn't getting on my nerves at all.

When did they say that the premiere was one week after season 4 finale? And when did Joss say that Angel season 4 was only 2 weeks long?

If so, then the two shows didn't go together this year, because Buffy's season was defiently longer than 2 weeks.

I'm not sure about that first question, but as for Joss saying it was only two weeks, he said it in a couple interviews. I thought it was pretty odd, because as you pointed out, Buffy's season sure seemed longer than that.

The seasons overlapped though, with the crossovers and whatnot. The time from when Fred called Willow (even though that was out of order, anyway), Willow showing up in LA, Faith returning on Angel, and then Faith leaving LA and showing up on Buffy seemed longer in the Buffyverse than in the Angelverse. That all had to happen in the span of two weeks according to what Joss said.

I think the whole span of Buffy and Angel after Willow/Faith go back to Sunnydale could have been over the span of a week or so. Of course, maybe we can assume that there was some time inbetween the end of Angel and him showing up in Sunny D.

It does seem like Buffy after Faith showed up took longer than a week though.

You know what's weird? That Spike is able to vamp up, even though he's a ghost. That just seems odd.
