I wonder, does Lindsey remember Darla having sex with Angel, or was he affected by the Connor memory wipe too? Heck, is this about Darla at all, or just revenge on Wolfram and Hart?

HOLY FUCKIN SHIT!!! I recorded half of the episode, and I screamed when I saw Lindsey.

 

THIS is the story arc of the season. WB can do all they want, but they can't stop Joss when it comes to story arcs. Plus, Lindsey looked BADASS with all of the tattoos.

 

Wow, the Angel/Spike fight was ~gansta~ and the whole swerve thing was great.

 

I am in shock right now, and I am LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!

1. Lindsey. Holy. Fucking. Shit. I was watching the show on the top floor of my house. My computer is 2 floors down. I was screaming and yelling like an n*sync fan on crack as I ran all the way down... luckily, no one is home. I was expecting/hoping/wishing/gently stroking with great anticipation/waiting for it to be LILAH in bed with Eve... cause that so would have made me drop 4 pounds in a second and plastered the walls with... um... but Lindsey is soooo much better in that non-sexual-fantasy kinda way.

 

2. The flashbacks and how it coincided with the current Angel/Spike story and how they both peaked at the same time was fucking awesome. The Angel-ruins-Spikes-destiny-so-Spike-ruins-his thing is fucking awesome. Their fight was fucking awesome. Spike winning it was so not fucking awesome! I was cheerin for Angel! FUCK Spike! The show is called ANGEL motherfuckers!

 

3. In other news, Spike stealing Angels car was hilarious.

 

4. Man, if Lindsey didn't show up I would have SOOOOO been pimping Charles GUNN as the big bad for this season. Him going psycho on Eve was fucking IN-TENSE.

 

5. Thank Jesus Fred didn't get a lot of time tonight.

 

6. Fuck. Just when I was about to write Eve off the foxy list, she makes a big heel turn which could turn out well for the drastically low-in-foxy-in-desperate-need-for-foxy Angel. Cause before that, she was "cute". Not enough swivel in those hips, not enough pout in those lips and not enough eye brow movement... hmm, that last one didn't rhyme... The dress, however, was nice. The hair is nice too... she just doesn't work it like Lilah... or Jenny. Or even Darla and Kate. But this new baddy girl thing could work... I shall continue to hold out hope for the next 21st Century Fox.

 

7. What the fuck was goin on with those markings? They looked a lot like the Shananana prophecy scripture. Are we to believe that Lindsey has been behind this the whole time??? He left in Season 2, which would mean a few years to fully develop the scheme, but c'mon... that's a lil bit hard to swallow. Hopefully they will explain it better in a later episode. As for now... HOLY SHITTING FUCK! It looks like Lindsey is trying to kill two birds with one stone.

 

8. The first thing Spike does when corporeal... FUCK. That's sweet.

 

9. Hopefully the Senior Partners will discover Eve's betrayal and bring back the ORIGNAL UBER VIXXXXXEN, the FOXYFUCKSYFOX herself, LILAH to come in and CAAAAAAAAAAAT FIIIIIIGHT with her less-than-foxy counterpart.

 

10. Really fucking good eps. tonight. It's definitely an eps. they needed to do. It answered a lot of questions and created better ones. Eve is definitely bad, we know why Angel and Spike hate each other.... What is Lindsey doin? Is Spike the real deal? This season gets better and better.

Lilah wouldn't fare too well in a cat fight since her head comes off kind of easy now. Atleast that's what she said in last season's finale.

Great episode tonight, as Gunn finally gets some screen time and the plot thickens a little. I like how they remembered that shooting his father, even a vision of his father, would cause Wesley to take some time off. As for the whole Lindsey thing, I missed most of Season two, so I was like, 'who the F*ck is that?", but after reading about the Season two episodes it makes since why he would go against W,R, & H.

Since I'm only up to the fourth episode of Season Two (I'm letting my sis catch up before I continue), I didn't know what happened to Lindsey. Well, now I know, and let me just say that I am right there with ya. AWESOME episode tonight.

I take back (almost) all the bad things I said about this season! This episode fucking ROCKED! The first episode this season that's actually felt like Angel.

 

And then they bring in Lindsey!! I've been hoping for him ever since the season 4 finale! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Dear god, was that awesome. The Spike/Angel flashbacks and fight kicked all kinds of ass. I was cheering for Spike the entire time. When he starting smacking Angel around with the giganto-cross, I was definately marking out. Then they vamped up and I was all "Oh, it's on bitches!".

 

Gotta love Eve playing the victim, then the SWERVE~ at the end. Typical Joss booking. Great stuff. I also liked the return of the former watcher from last season, nice bit of continuity. And the crazy TONER guy. Good ol office violence.

I was really hoping for a "shake-up" episode and I got my wish.

The whole time that Eve was getting into bed, I had all the faces of who she could be talking to going through my mind.. and I didn't even clue in to Lindsey until I saw him. I was secretly hoping for Mayor Wilkns back from the dead, but Mr. MacDonald will do just fine!

The Angel/Spike fight was so badass. Return of the uber jumping abilities!

 

Fury and DeKnight, who wrote the episode, sure seem to love big adventure elements. Last season they did "Awakening" which had that whole Indiana Jones vibe, and last night they had the whole bit with the cup. Cool stuff.

 

This episode definitely got me all hyped for rest of the season.

So wait, was Lindsey behind the Beast thing the WHOLE TIME?? If so, that would be insanely awesome.

 

I was trying to piece everything together last night before I went to bed, how the Beast would be explained without the memory of Connor, but then my fan fell off my mantle and hit me in the foot. I guess someone was telling me not to think to hard or something.

Maybe the Connor stuff still happened, but the memory was just erased of it?? Honestly I think Joss left a hole with that one.

Lindsey was behind everything that happened to Spike. Lindsey probably got notice that Spike had a soul, found out about the first and the amulet, went to sunnydale and recovered it, sent it to Angel, then got Spike corporealized and set up the cup.

This is the first time I've ever heard fazzle say something good about Angel, in a long while.

Yeah, first time this season I've actually given nothing BUT praise to an episode. I might say one good thing, but then back it up by bitching. But, weeeee!!! Lindsey! It feels good knowing that it looks like the season is GOING somewhere.

 

But, unfortunately, we have to wait until January to find out where it's going.

 

Fucking WB.

 

They said they had hoped Spike and Angel would kill eachother.

 

Actually, they hoped Spike would kill Angel specifically, not an "either one must die" scenario.
