Guest Brian Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Unless it's Bugs Bunny. Anyways, we need to put together that DVD thing so we can keep this thread alive for when Season Five comes out on DVD.
Anya 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Anya could kill a bunny with a knife. As for the DVD thing, I don't think anyone but me, you and Rudo care. That's what you get for excluding Buffy.
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I excluded Buffy because I don't have the DVD's for the most part, and so we could make the Season 5 release. I've netflix'd 'em, but I doubt I'll buy 'em.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I got Angel Season 2, 3, and 4. No Buffys. We should probably do the one that the most people could participate in.
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Well, the idea is to build up to the big Season 5 release, and appreciate the overall, encompassing story arcs and the different forms they have taken throughout the seasons and in different character arcs. Plus, we need to record for future generations, the travels of Miss. Burkle's skirt up her legs.
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Amen to that, brother. So, am I the only one here that has every season of each show that's been released so far?
BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 So, am I the only one here that has every season of each show that's been released so far? Nope, I get em all thus far...pretty sure Mole does too
Anya 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Well, fine. Angel season 2 is ok. I have Buffy 1-6, Angel 1-4 and Firefly on DVD. So, everyone released in the US. I also have Storyteller, Chosen and all of Angel season 5 on tape. I used to have Selfless, but I think I accidently taped over it.
Tawren 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Hell no, I have all 6 of Buffy and all 4 of Angel. All displayed on my shelf beside my Firefly set.
Anya 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I've got them displayed too. It's awesome. I'm so proud of them. I can't wait till my 3 Anya figures arive so I can put her next to the sets.
Mole 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Umm, well for the time being I don't have Angel season 1 or Buffy season 4 till I get my job rolling. I owe my friend $20 and he has those two DVD sets. I told him if I don't give him the money, he could keep them. That was dumb. But I NEEEDEDDDDDD that 20.
Anya 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 That's terrible. I won't even let people borrow my sets. A Co-worker wanted to borrow my Firefly set and I was like no way.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I got a break next week, so I'll be watching and reviewing Angel Season 2. If anybody wants to join-in, feel free.
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Starting next monday, we'll go with "The trial", and then do an episode every other day. Ample time to discuss or rewatch stuff.
Anya 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 OMG I just got an e-mail telling me my Magic Box Anya figure is coming in a couple days. SMG is on Letterman tonight. I'm watching.
Guest croweater Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Yay for us getting Letterman reruns at 2am on varying nights. I'm now gonna have to watch all of them so I can see SMG. Oh, and I'll join you all in the DVD funness (I'll have to buy Angel DVDs though, I only have season 1), but after exams.
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I watched "Tabula Rasa" on FX today. SPIKE: I must be a noble vampire. (Buffy looks dubious) A good guy. On a mission of redemption. I help the hopeless. (chuckles) I'm a vampire with a soul. BUFFY: (frowning) A vampire with a soul? (beat) Oh my god, how lame is that?
Anya 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Tabula Rasa is great. More eps need Anya and Giles shippage. Time Bomb was on TNT today. Kind of boring. Illyria just never stops going on and on about being king of everything. The whole time shifting thing is too confusing to follow. It's just not exciting. And Wes' big gun looks silly. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 The Vamp/Sailor from Why We Fight is on CSI right now. I believe CSI, Angel, and Lost have the same casting director, cause there are so many crossover actors on em. Which is good for me
BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 and damn, Daniel Dae Kim gets around, this year he was on 24, The Shield, ER, Enterprise, Without a Trace and of course Lost. Edit: Whoa, was just looking through some profiles on IMDB, SAWYER was in City Of...
areacode212 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 Yeah, he played one of the pretty boy vampires in the first scene.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 So, am I the only one here that has every season of each show that's been released so far? I've only got Buffy S1&2 and Angel S1 on DVD, but I've got everything except Bargaining and all of Angel S4 (which starts on Space this coming week, and I'll be taping) available in some form or another. I can watch along with you guys, but I'm not especially good at providing insight to the storylines.

Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 aha duly noted on the WS issue. and I agree on the tabulsa ep great comedy in that one like anya constatnly making bunnies appear as she reads spells from a book. one time she is reading and asks giles something. camera cuts to giles sword fighting with a skeleton and saying "its not working" I was rotfl when I first saw that one for some reason. amnesiac willow saying "I also think Im kinda gay" anya pronouncing her name as "ainya" good stuff damn I have missed most of angel s5 on tnt thanks to the mlb playoffs, well at least I have the consaltion of watching the last few eps now that the Yanks have broken my heart for the 4th year in a row, damn you boston you drunk irish bastards lmao

Anya 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 Giles fighting a skeleton is great and so is "I'm Anya!"(mispronounced). It's also funny when she throws her engagement ring at Giles and it rolls over to where the monster is.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 anybody know what song Lorne is singing in Home when everybody's meeting back in the W&R lobby? I checked TVTome but it's not there
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 22, 2004 anybody know what song Lorne is singing in Home when everybody's meeting back in the W&R lobby? I checked TVTome but it's not there I think it's from Westside Story. I don't know where you can find a transcript.
Anya 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 Anyone live in LA? Joss is hosting some Kerry fundraiser party and a bunch of Buffyverse actors are going to be there, including Aly, Nick, Alexis, Benz, Lenk, and some writers. Wow that is so cool. I wish I could go! I don't even like Kerry, but I'd still donate funds if it meant meeting nick brendon.
