Mole Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Yeah they did; but that is because UPN showed the episode a week later. The one thing they screwed up was the time factor with the two. Joss said that season 4 was over a 2-4 week time span; while Buffy's season was much longer than that.
Cavi Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 I've heard of people who ordered it from Amazon already receiving their Season 3 DVDs. I'll be getting it from CC tomorrow morning though. Yeah, I know my sister got her DVD set last Friday. Not sure if it was from Amazon, but an online order nonetheless. I'll be going out here in a few hours to get mine.
dubq Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Yeah, but Angel = funny. Angel as puppet = HILARIOUS~ Exactly!
dubq Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Yeah, it sounds cool, I don't know who would do it though. I can. MoleSlayer, PM me with the deets.

dubq Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Just got season three. The rest of the week is a write-off for me as of 5:30pm this evening!
Mole Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Yes I just picked it up too. Even though I over payed for it.
dubq Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Yes I just picked it up too. Even though I over payed for it. Ditto. I could've waited to get a staff discount from a friend who works at HMV, but that wouldn't be until Saturday.. yes, I'm way to impatient. ;p BTW, you still want a banner made? PM me the details if so..
Hank Kingsley Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Hooray for Circuit City still having 3 copies for $40! Now I can rewatch the season and catch all the minor stuff I missed the first time around.
Hank Kingsley Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Oh my GOD! At buffy.nu they have an ad scan from "Smile Time", so you can see what Angel looks like as a PUPPET~ and it looks GOLD~ http://www.buffy.nu/article.php3?id_article=3220
BorneAgain Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 Seeing how Angel will actually interact with all the other characters in that paticular episode will be interesting to say the least. I noticed something else when I was at the buffy.nu site. Apparently Amber Benson (Tara) and Adam Busch (Warren) are dating now. Now that's some Joss irony for ya.

I'm so glad they went with the "muppet" look instead of that of a ventriloquism dummy.
Anakin Flair Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 From Buffy.nu Charisma Carpenter Has Been Confirmed For Playboy By Chrissy 2004 - 02 - 11th « Previous Article - Next Article » Charisma has signed the contract and is wrapping up her second day of shooting today, February 10th. She chose the photographer herself and is very pleased with the photos, which will feature no below the waist frontal nudity. It was a joint decision made by Charisma and her husband, Damian, who was with her during the entire shoot, and she has assured her official site that everything is being done tastefully. They are very happy with the result and hope that Charismas fans will continue to support her. Expect to see the issue sometime this summer 2004.
Hank Kingsley Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Spike with black hair is awesome. And hey, leave it to Goddard and DeKnight to make an episode that sounded stupid in theory a great episode (so far, anyway).
Anakin Flair Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 The origins of The Initiative. Sweet. Also liking how Spike doesn't realize that Angel has a soul, thus keeping his line in "School Hard" intact.
Hank Kingsley Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Well, that ended...abruptly, but still, another awesome episode. I'm LOVING this season, and it's only going to get better.
Hank Kingsley Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 SMILE TIME! Holy shit, it looks ten times better in live action! God, that's going to rule.
Anakin Flair Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 the only thing that will save next weeks show is Spike mocking Puppet Angel.
Guest EQ Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Isn't it around time that they should be setting up who the big bad for the season will be and what is so special about *this* apocalypse?
Hank Kingsley Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Reading the synopsises (synopses?) for the next couple weeks, I'd say that's coming in 2 weeks.
Anakin Flair Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Isn't it around time that they should be setting up who the big bad for the season will be and what is so special about *this* apocalypse? That's supposed to start after "Smile Time."
RavishingRickRudo Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 What's so special about this apocalypse? A certain amount of years in the making, maybe?
Cavi Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I really enjoyed tonight's ep. Definitely liked the early Initiative stuff, like Naitch pointed out. Got a kick out of Lawson saying the US government wouldn't experiment with vamps, like the Nazis were doing. I also thought the final scene with Angel and Lawson was top-notch. Great dialogue. Next week's looks freakin' wacky!
Conspiracy_Victim Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Spike wrestling with a muppet. Yep looks like fun.
Anakin Flair Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Watching "Waiting in the Wings" now on the Season 3 DVD. And who do I see but Summer Gleau (sp?). Everything's connected. EDIT: Watch the deleted scene- Fred adn Wesley dancing Ballet. Fred is great. Wesley? Not so.
