Jingus Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I've seen Season 7 a couple of times thru now, and I still don't know who the fuck Rona was. She couldn't have been THAT annoying if I have no memory of her whatsoever. And anyway, why bitch about people like her and Andrew when there are targets so much more worthy of your wrath, like Kennedy or even The First itself? Goddamn it, I thought last night was when Angel's new eps finally started airing. Imagine my disappointment when I get home and watch the tape, and I only get another crappy episode of fucking Smallville.
Hank Kingsley Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Okay, after seeing Apocalypse, Nowish, Habeas Corpses, and Long Day's Journey, I finally see what all the verbal fellatio of THE BEAST~ is all about. That thing is fucking AWESOME. The fight in AN just rocks. And, wow, Gwen is hot. This season can't come out on DVD soon enough.

And THE BEAST is just the man, plain and simple.
Hank Kingsley Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Yeah, Spin the Bottle was on Fox last weekend, and I loved that ep, too.
Anya Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I don't know about other Rona haters, but I hate her because of her dumb comments when they kicked Buffy out. That whole thing was ridiculous, but Rona was the worst.
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Rona was the real villain of Season 7, if you ask me. She's not someone that you love to hate, she's not a fun bitch like Cordy was, she's just fucking annoying.
Ravenbomb Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Was I the ONLY one to like season 7? Or Kennedy, for that matter? Loved Season 7, middle of the road on Kennedy

Guest Miss Indy Queen Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 God I hate the WB. I try not to read spoilers because I like to be surprised HOWEVER, on wednesday I flipped over to the WB and they were showing commercials. Well they show a commercial for Angel and about the final few episodes and the FUCKERS show clips of people coming up in episodes. So of course I knew about one person and two other pop up and i'm thinking, what the hell they just told me a spoiler. I wonder if they do this on purpose.
Mole Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I think they are trying to sell Angel for the next 6 episodes, so that is why they showed those people. Just highlight to read, for those who haven't seen the trailer and don't want to be spoiled about what is coming up. I knew Darla was going to be in season 5 because she has been in every season of Angel, so she had to come back for something. I figured Dru would be back because she plays such an important role in Angel and Spike's past. And they had to have a flashback episode because they rule so much. I don't think I have seen an episode from Buffy/Angel that had flashback scenes that I didn't like. And for Connor, I read the spoilers for the episode. I know why he is back and what is going to happen in the episode, but not how it ends.
Anakin Flair Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Hell, I liked Kennedy. And I almost liked Andrew once or twice, but he was just so freaking annoying. Plus Anya died defending him, and I was an Anya mark.
Mole Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Yes, Anya was an amazing character. Her sarcasm was so great.

Now I know what the series finale will focus on and take makes sense to me. It will be a good way to end the series on, I think.
Mole Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Now call me the RRR of the Angel thread, this is my 4th post in a row. Where is everyone? There is a new episode in 3 days! Anyway, Charisma has a new show, but it is on UPN. From Buffy.nu: Charisma Carpenter got the pilot for "Play Nice" the lead. It airs on UPN. She starts filming April 22nd. Her co star is a guy names Tyler LeBean. She is very happy with the people that she will be doing business with. Warner Little and Adam Chase are very connected with this project. Mr. Little was with NBC for 10 years and was responsible for many of the great shows as well as late night TV. Adam Chase was a writer for Friends for about six years. So there should be some good stuff here. She is a strong, ambitious pushing to make partner in a law firm. Sharing her apartment with a younger very sloppy brother who she adores and five dogs. She does a lot of volunteer work where animal are concerned. Good Luck Charisma! I'll watch it, just to see what it is like. ANNDDD, here is the casting spoilers for episode 22. CAST Angel DAVID BOREANAZ Charles Gunn J. AUGUST RICHARDS Winifred “Fred” Burkle AMY ACKER Lorne ANDY HALLETT Spike JAMES MARSTERS and ALEXIS DENISOF as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce ADDITIONAL CAST Connor VINCENT KARTHEISER Eve SARAH THOMPSON Harmony MERCEDES MCNAB Lindsey CHRISTIAN KANE Hamilton ADAM BALDWIN Izzy MARK COLSON Sebassis LELAND CROOKE Cyvus Vail DENNIS CHRISTOPHER Senator Bruckner STACEY TRAVIS Anne JULIA LEE Bartender DAVID FIGLIOLI Demon Slave RYAN ALVAREZ PRODUCTION CREDITS Written by JEFFREY BELL & JOSS WHEDON Directed by JEFFREY BELL Hmm, this episode looks like it will rule. But someone who I thought was going to be there, isn't. And looks like Adam Baldwin will have a good amount of screen time. This is his 3rd episode, so he might be a big bad. And I think this Senator Bruckner is a Senior Partner.
fazzle Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 .........Must...........Not.............Highlight! Must. Fight. Urges!
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I do not appreciate my name being used in that context. It does, however, remind me to post in the Firefly thread The next episode of Angel looks to be one of the most "interesting" ones in the shows history. And I am not using the term "interesting" as in "it's bad, but they try", I am using it in the "holy crap how are they going to get THIS done." Very much looking forward to it.
Hank Kingsley Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 It's funny going back and reading the beginning of the thread. Everyone's all "This season sucks! This isn't Angel! What a disappointment! No story arc!" and now we're here and holy CRAP I can't wait until Wednesday.
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Man, I'm reading some of the first few pages and... I'm one funny motherfucker. *laughs* *wipes tear from eye* *sighs* Funny stuff. Even if no one laughs, I still have me to entertain
Mole Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Man, I'm reading some of the first few pages and... I'm one funny motherfucker. *laughs* *wipes tear from eye* *sighs* Funny stuff. Even if no one laughs, I still have me to entertain Ha, I hear that. I am the same way. But yes, I can't wait for Wednesday. Only 2 more days!
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Yeah, but YOU can't masterfully use the word "fuck". I swear, before this thread is closed I'll record all the versions of the word I've used. Looking back on this thread, I'd say P4P (Post 4 Post), it's the second best thread I've read. I think I'll compile all the "By the numbers" we've all done on each episode and put em in a review of the season.
Mole Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Yeah, I wish we did the same thing with Buffy. I am sure this will be a classic. The only episode I didn't do the number review was "Shells" and that is because it wasn't an episode that deserved it. It was just an overall good episode.
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I should pimpsmack you for saying that.
Hank Kingsley Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 By the way, I wholeheartedly pimp the City of Angel website (cityofangel.com). Not only is it the best Angel website I've seen (look for the write-up on the Wolfram and Hart Annual Revue; it's awesome), but they have mystery VIP greetings from the crew of the show, including Joss, Tim Minear, Jonathan Woodward, Amy Acker, Vladimir Kulich (THE BEAST~), Drew God(dard), and Jeffery Bell, plus about 20 others.
Mole Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I should pimpsmack you for saying that. Slap way biatch.
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Well... I can't actually slap you... However I can pimp... JMW aka "The Man"
Hank Kingsley Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Keith Szarabajkakajakajskfsa's "Welcome to the Quor-toth" greeting may be the greatest thing ever. That and Woodward's Edward Scissorhands one. The W&H Revue writeup just makes me jealous.
Guest JMA Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I'm glad the season four repeats start on TNT today. I didn't get to see some of the earlier episodes from the season.
