Have you ever been forced to go to a concert by a persistant friend? I can only name one time I've been forced to go to a concert and it was a school field trip in 2nd grade to see a string quartet perform songs from Sesame Street...surreal to say the least.

I wouldn't say forced, but I was coerced into seeing Shai Halud with one of my friends because he was going there to meet some girl he met online and didn't want to go by himself. He just told me that I should go with him just because Shai Halud was a good band and I would like it, but I soon learned the truth...they weren't that good. And he finally met the girl, and I don't think she liked him any more.

I was forced to see Creed and GOD DAMN IT! Their mystical evil powers WORKED on me!

The same thing happened when I saw the string quartet play songs from Sesame Street. I was like most 8 year olds in the fact that I hated Sesame Street (I love it now in fact I watched Follow That Bird this morning) but boy did I mark the fuck out when they played Rubber Ducky for an encore.

Well Yeah of course it was...

Was this that Anger Management tour?

We can thank Scott Stapp for creating *THAT* tour...

My girlfriend made me go see Michelle Branch, because I made her go the McCartney concert.

My friends have been going to see such ghey bands such as The Darkness, BRMC and the like. But, I've resisted. But, I converted one friend to Maiden and he's coming with me to see them on Dec 4th.

My ex-girlfriend was one of those punk girls who went to all the underground concerts and everything, and she convinced me to go to a concert with her. The venue was, literally, underground. I don't have any "punk" attire, so I had to to go in my Abercrombie and Fitch clothes, which is a big mistake, let me tell you. I left like an hour early and just walked around town by myself, since she didn't want to leave yet. We broke up soon after. The only highspot was when the band talked about how they used to be a metal band, but they switched over to Ska, the "superior genre of music", which elicited cheers from most of the kids. I booed vehemently. They then pulled out a Flying V and proceeded to play "Where Eagles Dare" by Iron Maiden. That was the only part of the concert I enjoyed. I'm pretty sure that some guy grabbed my ass, too. Fucking punks.

My parents dragged me to a Horde Tour show some years ago, featuring Ben Harper, Barenaked Ladies, Blues Traveler and some acoustic guitar woman with hairy legs and armpits, forgot her name.

The show wasn't bad, but I hate big crowds, hot humid days with them and (no longer the case) lots of walking. And lots of fat ugly chicks dancing to obstruct your view COMPLETELY.

I had to sit through the Deftones to wait for Slayer to come on once..does that count?

Pussies.

I've had to go and see Supertramp.

Come on the Logical Song kicks ass! I mostly remember them from a line on the Critic that I couldn't do justice about a Supertramp 8-track being stuck on the episode where Jay drives a big rig.

A whole lot of shitty bands to sit through till Sabbath hit the stage for Ozzfest and my ex once made me go to The Warped Tour.

Both were worth it cause I got to see Sabbath at Ozzfest and got sex after Warped.
