Mole Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 It doesn't suprise me at all that Underworld is number 1. Cold Creek Manor is a bit low though.
Nevermortal Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 What is Secondhand Lions? I never even heard of it. How did it make #3?
Guest El Satanico Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Second Hand Lions is a family movie and it actually looks pretty good. It likely earned most of it's money from families and seniors.
Guest Choken One Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Looks like RUNDOWN should end the slow drought for Box Office this weekend...
Mecha Mummy Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Yeah, here's hoping The Rundown's a success. I'm going to try and see it this weekend.
cabbageboy Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Yeah I will hopefully see the Rundown as well. I'm actually kinda shocked at the highly positive reviews I've read so far.
Guest Choken One Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Ebert and Roeper CREAMED for the rock on their show...but yeah Lotsa postivive reviews...Mostly saying "Mainly for Walken" but they throw in a "Rock is a future name"... There were even very little wrestling references from what I seen...for SK most reviews went "Wrestler turned Movie star" now it's "Hollywood Superstar" no longer is rock considered a "rassler" but a major hollywood name.
starvenger Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Ebert and Roeper CREAMED for the rock on their show...but yeah Lotsa postivive reviews...Mostly saying "Mainly for Walken" but they throw in a "Rock is a future name"... Yeah, I could see those two yearning for The Rock.
razazteca Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 They creamed over the 4 stars of the Rundown. Roper had alot of good things to say about Rosario Dawson and Sean Michael Scott saying that this could be their breakout movie. Also Walken got the usual he is a great creepy character actor hype. As for Duane Johnson they like his stuntwork, especially the fight scene where the Rock puts over the small fighter. This just in: Johnny Depp is a draw.
