I saw it on Fuse for the first time tonight, and I must say, any show that has stories on both Darth Brooks and his Wal-Mart Death Star tank (with Willie Nelson as Garth's Jedi Master) and the sad break-up of David Hasselhoff and Kitt is freaking GOLDEN.

spiny norman Posted September 25, 2003 Report Posted September 25, 2003 I really don't find it funny at all. They parodied Celine Dion, but what's the point? It's hardly fresh or original. It just takes mainstream jokes about singers and compiles them into a five minute show. I just don't see any innovation or free thought in it.

It's a series of parodies of "Behind the Music" done by the same guys who did all of those "Metallica Vs Napster web-shorts. They aired on the internet before Much Music USA, about two years ago, made a deal with the creators to package the webtoons into a 30 Minute block of programming called "The Big Suck Weekend". They are pretty funny and disturbing (with the N'Sync episode being extremely disturbing do to the Johnny Got His Gun homage they do, complete with them using the movie dialogue from when the doctors realise that Timothy Bottoms is using morse code to try and communicate with them in their homage)....
