Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 9, 2003 So is Ed Hillill the guy who didn't do anything that 593209853523424 other people done the last 100 years done? Try to catch a ball and "interfere"...Of course it happens to the Yanks and it's a crime of injustice...
Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Florida decided to add another run for the hell of it...
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 He wasn't the guy, he was an "eyewitness" that was sitting right behind the pole looking towards left when it happened.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Grady Little makes more obviously dumb moves than Bob Brenly. Now one of your best hitters is out of the game and you have nothing to show for it.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Its not really the same thing when it comes to interference. That ball was clearly headed towards the seats, which makes it fair game for the fans. Maier reached over the playing field.

They're up by three runs. I'd worry about team defense more at this point.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 I think the Cubs have it sewn up, so I'm staying to see if Boston hold on.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Think we'll see Rivera in the 9th? He's been pitching well, so why not?
Mik 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 That was a beautiful pitch by Tejera. Into his own dugout, lol.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 That had to be the strangest pitch I've ever seen in my life. That thing went sideways right away. And glad to see Veres get a chance to pitch when it's not a do or die situation. I think they left Prior in too long, but at least they got him out of there. And doesn't Cox walk oddly because he's had double-knee replacement surgery?
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 That was a beautiful pitch by Tejera. Into his own dugout, lol. ....How is that even POSSIBLE?
Guest Bobby Cox is God Report post Posted October 9, 2003 It slipped out of his hand, and it was just odd. Yeah Brusier, Cox did have knee surgery back in '91.
Mik 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 It just kinda went sideways out of his hand. It was something unique to see.

And with this bullpen, thinking that the Yankees could tie this up isn't out of the question.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 To: The Red Sox Hitters in the 9th A run or two (or 6) would be very nice in this inning, gentlemen. Sincerely, Red Sox Nation
