Guest MentallyNormal Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Can you imagine the party that Chicago will throw tonight if they pull off this win? I can imagine what that Bartman dude will feel like if the Cubs win. An also if they lose. Do it for the Bartman CUBBIES!
A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Man...this has been a crazy playoffs..and RED Sox/Cubs will draw HUGE ratings...
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 YES!!! This is exactly what the Cubs need to keep doing. Keep the fans in it and try and keep hitting well. Redman doesn't look like he'll go much longer and if Wood can be like he's been in the postseason so far, we could be in for something special tonight. Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 16, 2003 I could actually see Chicago bringing Bartman to the victory parade as a "It's Ok man, We forgive you" type deal...
Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 You know, I at first wanted the Marlins to win this to go to the World Series, but now I don't know. A Sox/Cubs WS would do wonders for the sport.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 16, 2003 so would a Yankees/Cubs...As long as Chicago is in it, people will come.
sfaJack 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 A Sox/Cubs WS would do wonders for the sport. But lead to a rather large number of suicides among fans of the losing team...

Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 16, 2003 But Sox/Cubs has more appeal than Yanks/Cubs... true but only marginally...Either way it's good news for the COUNTRY.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 I just want to say FUCK the Yankees, I don't want them in another WS for years. If you ask me, the fans of the sport in general are sick of them, and do not want to see him playing for the championship. Simply, when they are in it, many just assume they are going to win it, and many just don't give a fuck. A Sox/Cubs series would be damn interesting, one of the most interesting and eventfull things of all time. I could give two shit and a piss about seeing NY back in the running. Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Well I guess I want bad news for the country then. Yep...Shame on you...This country NEEDS something magical and you want the marlins for you selfish reasons. Shame on you

treble 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 The only problem with a Cubs/Sox series is that I wouldn't want either team to lose. At least if the Yankees make it, I can root against them. Oh well, I'm still cheering for Boston tomorrow.
