As a fan, if you stop showing up right after you get a championship then you deserve to be called bandwagon jumpers, I don't care if he sold off every player, coach, bat, base,etc. Fucking spoiled Marlins "fans".

For example...The Yankees haven't won in the last couple (and may not get back this year) and the Dodgers never win... I have this theory that baseball was so great this year because Teddy Ballgame took over head writing duties of the BASEBALL GODS union... and Notice that BoSox (his team), Yanks (rivals), Cubs (the other long suffering team) and Florida (He wanted to be buried in Florida and loved to vaction there)... So naturally, they all go to the A/NLCS. Kinda of a joke, not to be taken seriously

I remember for the first few minutes of Game 1 he was all "eh" and stuff, but he's been the only good thing in the booth. Dontcha love how he doesn't give verbal lap dances to Cabrera all night? And yet in spite of all the valid reasons to be against The Marlins (including them knocking out The Giants this year) I'd still rather see them win the world series than the Yankees, if it comes down to that. Maybe it's because if the Marlins win it all they'll probably be dismantled again and never become that annoying dynasty you love to hate. Maybe it's because I'm just that damn sick of the Yankees. Maybe it's that no one owner, no matter how much of a selfish, screw the fans, money-junkie asshole, can do something more reprehensible than what ALL the owners AND the players union did to expose the "business not a sport" aspect of baseball in 1994, and so even the sabotaging of teams that Huizenga and Loria have done pales in comparison. How much integrity and honor of the game was there left to rape after that, really? I dunno.
