HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Huh...maybe it's 3 benchers
Cartman 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I was trying to decide between Jamison and Martin...and then I realized my boy Toine' was still availible. Now I know he wasnt a popular pick but I honestly believe he will be VERY good this year with the addition of a real PG duo in Banks/James, and the hopeful return of Baker to a contributor. Baker may have hit rock bottom last year but he has cleaned himself up, dropped 30 poundsm and has more heart than ALOT of NBA players these days. That's one thing that makes me love the Celtics right now...They ALL play with tremendous Heart.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Next is alfdogg, followed by two picks by dangerous a
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Looking at the "My Team" thing, it says G/G/F/F/C/UTI so wouldn't there be 3 Bench Spots and an IR spot?
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 They will have to be bench players. IR players are treated much like it is in Baseball, it does not affect the line up until someone is officially put on IR by NBA. Once a player is on IR than an extra player can be picked up from waivers.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I'm still wary of Baker...didn't get much playing time last year and with E-Will on the bench to step in I'm not sure Baker will get much time this year either.

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Looking at the "My Team" thing, it says G/G/F/F/C/UTI so wouldn't there be 3 Bench Spots and an IR spot? I asked everyone and they said two spots.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 6 starters 3 bench whatever IR is treated as extra waiver player.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Oh boy I can draft round 4 before 10 PM?
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Oh boy I can draft round 4 before 10 PM? Most likely. 6 starters 3 bench whatever IR is treated as extra waiver player. 6 Starters 3 Benchers (As I guess I did put 3 benchers) 2 Injuried Reserve Spots
Cartman 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I'm still wary of Baker...didn't get much playing time last year and with E-Will on the bench to step in I'm not sure Baker will get much time this year either. With Battie hurting as usual Baker will split time with him, E-wil is going to be backing up Jumaine Jones. At least that's what they have said repeatedly in the Herald. FYI the Celtics are playing their 1st pre-season game in a half hour on FSNE!

Cartman 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I'll be doing plenty of channel surfing...of course majority of the time goes to the Sox ...unless they start getting smoked...but that's unlikely.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I might flip b/w the Bruins and Sox most likely since I got Samsonov and Lapointe playing for my Fantasy Hockey team

Cartman 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 LOL, I didn't have anything to do with jinxing Boston...Sports Illustrated took care of that for me. Yankees/Marlins World Series. (SI put the Cubs and BoSox on the cover) In other news...I'm watching this sports show and they just mentioned that Antoine Walker lost 30+ pounds in the offseason...THAT is incredible! HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Wow! Let's see Toine work the post, if he can do that then I expect him to pull out many double doubles and even a few triple doubles...Now watch him go 3 happy as per the usual
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 *toasts Raz* You sir, are the most active poster today! I have 30, now 31 posts so far too..heh
Cartman 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Walker can throw up as manu 3's as he wants, Paul too. That is the way this team plays, and wins. Adding the good playmaker in Banks and the post guy in Baker only makes them stronger.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Yeah, but if Walker starts missing then instead of trying to work inside and get some easy baskets, he continues for the three. Also, nothing annoys me more then a 1 or 2 on 2 and Walker/Pierce/whomever pulls up and shoots a 3 just to miss..I mean at least try and drive & get a foul or something.
