Id have to drop Raja Bell to meet the 9 players and then when Dwayne Wade comes back Id have to drop another (and Raja bell is the player Im intending to drop). Oddly enough, I think I declined the trade earlier this morning and forgot. Anyway, Im done trading unless an injury (knock on wood) occurs. The trade deadline is 2/19.. Dunno if you should pick Antonio up either, he can get rebounds but his minutes have been cut down to nothing because of Jerome Williams and Eddy Curry and what not. If I hadn't of lucked out with Baron Davis I would probably have traded TJ Ford by now. And Dwayne Wade had put up some decent stats the couple of weeks that I had him that he was healthy. But yeah, I'm actually happy with my team at the moment, which shocks me. We started off dead last and have battled back to 7th overall and I believe the top 6 are playoff teams, so we're on our way even if the Alfdogg Asylum is giving me shit this week.The bastards. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2004 Ok... I don't like the trade between Alfdogg and Fear The Slayers for this reason. While it does show in the current player rankings that Fear The Slayers is getting the better deal, Alfdogg is getting the better deal statistically as Alfdogg is improving 5 categories while Slayer is only improving in 3. On The Flip Side: The last player that Alfdogg has selected will be starting some games here for the Pacers. Since the guy has only started 16 games, it's not purposely fair to assume that he's stats wouldn't be as good as someone else there, had he started all 30+. As it's unfair to guess what type of stats he coudl've had. Hence I went with average stats and found that they are sound for the trade. Final Verdict On Trade: Since this trade is balanced, with Fear taking a slight risk with Tinsley (but without that risk there would be nothing gained), I approve of it. Even if it makes me have a gut reaction of NO. The logic of the trade is sound and so I can not disapprove of it. Enjoy your new team players. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
